Dyson Desk Fan: No remote? I guess that's fine.

I understand a desk fan doesn't need a remote, but for the price it should just come with one. Apparently you can use the Dyson app as a remote. The fan itself works fine and keeps a small area cool. I do not like the sound it makes when it oscillates. It sounds like my phone vibrating on silent, which makes me want to answer something. Aside from that its fine.

    #1 Fan of Fan!

We were in the hospital for a surgical procedure and they brought this fan in for us. We were so impressed by the fact there were no dusty fan blades, how sterile and clean looking it was, and how quickly it cooled the room that we went online at the hospital and bought one for ourselves! Getting it home hearing how quiet it runs and love the nightmode feature! Its obviously a pricey fan but we would make the purchase again in a heartbeat especially knowing how easy it is to clean and knowing its not going to get caked dust like our other fans have in tje past.

    Cooling Fan Use

Bought this to replace an old Dyson fan. Works great in front of an open window in the evenings to bring in cooler outdoor air when the house has been closed all day.

    Great except…

The fan is great and visually asthetically pleasing. When using the function to make it turn, it had the slightest ticking noise that would be unacceptable for a cheap fan. Returned the fan due to this.
