A Glimpse of Hell [DVD] [2001]

Michael Salomon's drama about a military catastrophe, A Glimpse of Hell comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that creates an image with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This disc looks and sounds great, but the list price is quite high for a title that contains no extras. Those with an interest in the film will not be disappointed, but others may stay clear.
