Works great
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Stays on the windshield pretty well. there have been a couple of really hot days that it came off but I expected more so I’m happy. The screen is a nice size. The app works well. I put a 256gn card in it today to hold more videos because my husband likes that it will randomly record while parked in our driveway(I set the parking sensitivity to high). Even tho it’s for the front I might buy another for a rear camera.

Extra eyes on my car
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. So far so good in my 2021 Honda Insight, very easy to install and works really good through WiFi with my phone for videos. Tap into my Honda sense camera for power with a very clean look. Only bought it on sale to replace my VaVa.

Nice camera good video
||Posted .I’ll start with the bad to get it over with, the WIFI connection to get video off the camera and change settings sucks. When I can get it to work the transfer speed is 2mb/s or less, if you have one video you want to transfer or 2 not so bad, if you want to transfer all of the videos from your memory card this is painfully slow and if you upgrade the memory card you could be looking at hours to transfer the videos, especially since it is prone to disconnecting also. do yourself a favor and either swap out memory card or plug the camera in via USB. Now to good part. the video quality is good, it does get muddy looking at night or once the sun starts going down but that is tough for a lot of cameras due to light condition constantly changing. I am still playing with the sensors for the collision detection either while driving or parked. I have it set to maximum detection right now and closing doors on my car will sometimes set it off and bumpy roads in areas I drive, or railroad crossings will set off the collision detection. Reviewing videos on my phone with the app is neat feature but difficult to use because of the poor quality of the Wi-Fi connection. The GPS feature is nice and could come in handy in the event I need a record of how fast I was going at a certain time as this information is stamped right onto the video (I had to turn on this feature it was not on out of the box.) Overall, I would definitely recommend this camera to People looking for a simple dashcam for their vehicle.

Great camera for the money
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Great camera for the money. I purchased one for my vehicle and another for my wife's. Installation took 10 minutes with the included plastic pry/wedge tool. The wire was easy to tuck up in the fascia at the headliner and around the door using the supplied tool. We've had the cameras for a couple months now. Other reviews will state the section cup doesnt work and the camera falls of the windshield-- here's the trick to keep that from happening. I live in florida and mounted the section cup to the windshield when it was cool outside. When the sun heated up the windshield throughout the day, it caused the suction cup to break free from the glass. I went out in the middle of the day when the windsheild was still hot and remounted it and it has been on there ever since. I believe the issue has to do with expansion and contraction of the windshield. Simple fix -- mount it when the windshield/temperatures are at their warmest.

Great camera
||Posted .Just set it and forget it. I haven't done much night driving so I can't comment much on that. You can seem plates in certain conditions. The only problems I have had is on acouple warmer days I have returned to my car to find out it fell. Since summer is coming I might try some command strips or something. Also, transferring videos, taked multiple minutes or so. Mine is set for 5min intervals and it takes about that long download to your cellphone. When viewing from the app it shows speed but when its downloaded it doesnt.

Best dashcam in the market
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I used to rely on Garmin a bit, but they last 2 dashcams i owned, the dashcam 35 and the 45 kept showing me messages about their intolerance to heat and kept on crashing first 10 minutes in. Their Wifi communication with the mobile devices was fairly secure, only painfully slow, and lacked parking mode unless you buy a separate device. NOT with my new ROAV C2 Pro, NO. This dashcam does much more for a few more bucks, it’s tougher, faster, and does not require a separate device for parking mode. Love it

Q: QuestionBattery good for how long
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The battery runs for about 2-3 hours if there is no constant motion in front of the dashcam.

Q: QuestionI drive at night does this dash cam have night vision
Asked by Byers.
- A:Answer It works great at night if there is other lights such as businesses or street lights, on the highway in rural areas with no other lighting all you would see is what is lit by your headlights, in city driving it pretty impressive,

Q: QuestionHow can this product not work on my vehicle? 2016 Nissan. Really a silly question,
Asked by DavidS.
- A:Answer It works just fine I'm sure. As long as you have an available car charging plug and the mounting location is within I believe 10 feet, your good. Will NOT mount to the dashboard...must be window mounted as gps antenna is build into the hoder/stand vs the unit itself.

Q: QuestionWould this work as a security camera on a remote job site I need to monitor? No WiFi or cell service available.
Asked by Jed.
- A:Answer Yes, but mounting it might be a challenge. If someone takes the camera, the footage is only stored locally so unless it is hidden, that in itself could be an issue. Plus, it is not waterproof so it would need to be protected.
