This is a great tablet however it’s missing some things that make me go huh? Performance wise this tablet is fantastic, I love the ability to multitask with ease. I experienced no lagging whatsoever while running procreate, YouTube, safari, and express at the same time. The display is stunning, the fullness of the colors doesn’t leave much more to desire. Although it’s not 120hz, it’s smooth and snappy. The bezels are definitely thick, however imo because of the size of the tablet I’m unbothered. Watching YouTube videos or movies on it is exceptional. Sound quality wise, and maybe my only gripe is I don’t think the speakers are very loud. They are loud enough if you’re nearby but if your listening while moving around you’ll definitely have difficulty. For example, if you’re cooking and watching a video, the sound of water boiling will drown it out unless your iPad is near it which I wouldn’t recommend. Otherwise the sound is rich enough to catch those annoying parts in the movies where you’re not sure if you should turn your volume up because the next scene might bust your eardrums. The camera is okay, not impressive but definitely does the job. Connectivity hasn’t been an issue, even when I tethered it to my iPhone 12pro, it operated with great speed and ease when I did a quick download. I love that I can work between my tablet, iPhone and Mac mini with ease. I also find much more productivity because not everything is done on my iPhone where there can be a bunch of distractions. As far as use with the Apple Pencil, it’s been stellar. I’ve never used one before so I have nothing to compare it to besides maybe the S pen. It works without lag nor is it overly sensitive. I’d recommend this to anybody who draws anything from fashion to anime, even if you’re a writer who wants the security a tablet can bring, it’s a good choice to pair with this iPad. Battery life is great, I charge it after a few days of moderate use typically. It’s a tough cookie. The back is aluminum with a nice matte finish, scratches won’t likely be an issue and fingerprints don’t show up unless your touching the apple logo on the back which is reflective. What makes me go huh? I love that Touch ID is a thing but even lower end devices have face unlock. It should be available on the iPad Air imo. Also because it’s a tablet which would typically be for reading, I don’t understand why apple has barred Nook purchases. Also, although I greatly prefer usb-c type, it’s now another separate charger that must be used from the iPhone. I will say I love that they did add the charger brick alongside the usb type c cable. Imo this is a great middle ground choice within the apple sphere however, far from a middle grounded device overall. In comparison to other brands, this iPad Air will give them a run for their money for sure. I knew that when the new iPads were launched I was going to Best Buy and not apple to get this iPad. The price is just a lot better than going to an Apple store, plus they offer apple care at check out so you’re not missing out. I also used my Best Buy credit card which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BUILDING THEIR CREDIT! Saved me an additional 60 dollars off the new iPad. Best Buy’s got some insanely great deals in general if you really look. And the staff at the store I go to are just always above and beyond. They’ve really helped me save a lot. And the iPad works fantastic with that m2 chip. Really has become my favorite device very quickly. It’s just smooth and simple and does every thing I need it to, so I can stay organized and feel that consistent flow without that immersion being disrupted. Solid if it’s your first iPad! Can’t get much faster except for the pro.

Recently I purchased an Ipad Air on the Best Buy website. The whole process was made easy and efficient. I opted to pick up my purchase from the nearby store. It was ready for pickup within an hour! Emails and the website made the process of buying and picking up easy as 1 2 3! Apple’s Ipad Air is just the device I was looking for. Having a larger screen is great for watching videos and everyday tasks. So far, the battery life has been great with no problems. Durability is great, I’m very careful with my devices so I have it in a case. I would definitely recommend this device. It’s a great surface for artists along with just regular use.

This is possibly the best iPad to date. The Pro models can tend to be way too pricey for a tablet, but this is probably "The Sweet Spot" for a tablet in 2022. I say that because it's the perfect size, has great sounding speakers, love the Touch ID, love the Center Stage front facing camera with super wide angle (keeps everyone in the frame with minimal effort). The M1 chip makes it "future-proof", and the screen is just super vivid. Oh, and the Touch ID....I'll take that over facial recognition any day...works very well in either landscape or portrait mode (set those options during set up). I bought mine at the N Canton Best Buy (Ohio). They were very helpful as usual. They price-matched Amazon not only on the iPad Air 5, but also the Otterbox Defender case, saving me over $100 between the two. I also have a MacBook Pro 15" which I use for photo editing, etc. But this is nice to have as a back-up, and also allows me to have two screens at once which can be handy in the days we find ourselves in. Def very happy!! Keeper!!
