A: AnswerYes it does, i am using a HP monitor and Keyboard and logitech mouse. 2 Traditional USB ports available and a HDMIAnswered by Giri
- A: AnswerI dont personally have PreSonus daw, but I run Logic Pro. I've used Macs, Mac Air, and about a month ago Ive upgraded from MacBook Air M1 chip with 8gb ram, to this Mac Mini M2 with 16 GB, and its very powerful for my needs. Unless you work with orchestral tracks, where you need 70 or more tracks running simultaneously, this should handle anything you throw at it. I mainly record and mix pop, rock metal, jazz, dance and Ive has no issues qith it at all. Its quick, its powerful for these application, so I do recommend it. Bow, as to the storage, you can always just buy an external ssd and youll be set. It's cheaper this way too, then getting mac with more ssd. I have 2 ssd 1TB sized that I use, 1 for extra plug ins and libraries, and 1 strictly for back ups.

- A: AnswerYes. But the speaker in the Mini is very poor. I got a small sound bar and Bluetoothed it, which works very well. I also have three screens. You will need a USB-C to HDMI adapter to add each of the second and third screens. Went from Mac to this Mini and do not regret it at all.

Q: QuestionIs it good for running games(1 answer)
A: AnswerThe Apple Mac mini with the M2 Pro Chip is a powerful desktop computer known for its impressive performance, but it may not be the best choice for running demanding PC games. While the M2 Pro Chip offers excellent processing power, the Mac mini is not optimized for gaming in the same way that gaming-specific PCs or consoles are. The Mac mini is primarily designed for productivity, content creation, and general use, making it a strong choice for tasks like video editing, software development, and everyday computing. It can handle less resource-intensive games or older titles, but it's not equipped with a dedicated gaming graphics card, which can limit its performance for modern, high-end gaming. If you're primarily interested in gaming, you may want to consider a gaming PC or a gaming console like the Xbox or PlayStation, which are specifically designed and optimized for gaming. While the Mac mini can handle a variety of tasks exceptionally well, gaming enthusiasts may find it better to invest in a system built with gaming in mind.Answered by MaryA0565
Q: QuestionCan you run Photoshop on a Mac mini Desktop - M2 Pro -16GB Memory -512GB SSD?(3 answers)
A: AnswerYES. It works perfect for Photoshop and with the Premier Pro I also use Deviance and Final Cut I was surprised with the speed it has to render and export videosAnswered by FabianGW
- A: AnswerFrom what I understand, if it has a 512Gb SDD listed then it has two (2) NAND storage chips, which would be about the speed of a typical PCIe3 NVMe (approx 3GB/s). It seems the more chips, the faster. Therefore the 256GB SSD is the slowest at approx. 50% of that and the 1TB SSD is approx. 50% faster. There seem to be no plans by Apple to correct this.

Exceptional Performance and Versatility: Mini Mac
I recently purchased the Apple Mac mini Desktop with the M2 Pro Chip, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD, and I've been thoroughly impressed with my individual experience using this product. What stands out most about the Mac mini is its exceptional performance. The M2 Pro Chip is a significant leap forward in terms of processing power, and it shows in everyday use. Whether I'm editing high-resolution photos, working with complex spreadsheets, or running resource-intensive applications, the Mac mini handles it all effortlessly. The speed and responsiveness are truly remarkable, and I've experienced virtually no lag or slowdowns, even with heavy workloads. The 16GB of memory further enhances the Mac mini's capabilities. It allows for smooth multitasking, and I can seamlessly switch between applications without any noticeable performance drops. It's especially handy when I'm working on multiple projects simultaneously. The 512GB SSD is fast and spacious enough to store my files and applications without feeling cramped. Boot times are incredibly quick, and applications launch almost instantaneously. This not only saves time but also enhances my overall productivity. The design of the Mac mini is another aspect I appreciate. It's sleek and minimalistic, fitting perfectly into my workspace. The Silver color adds a touch of elegance, and the compact size means it doesn't take up much room on my desk. One of the standout features is the wide range of ports and connectivity options. The Mac mini's Thunderbolt, USB-C, HDMI, and other ports offer versatility in connecting various peripherals and displays. This adaptability is a significant plus for my work setup, as it allows me to connect everything I need without the hassle of adapters or hubs. In summary, my individual experience with the Apple Mac mini has been overwhelmingly positive. Its remarkable performance, generous memory, and ample SSD storage have greatly improved my workflow and productivity. The sleek design and versatile connectivity options make it a valuable addition to my workspace. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and it has quickly become an integral part of my daily work routine.

Great mid level Computer
I recently purchased the Apple Mac Mini M2Pro. The M2Pro is designed with professionals who do video editing or a lot of photography. While all that is true, I simply wanted a system that would more than meet my mundane uses. I will likely never use the M2 to its full potential which is okay by me. It has 16GB of unified RAM and 512GB of internal storage and 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports along with 2 USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI 2.1 for 8K monitors. In short, it has tons of potential for anyone who has need of fast video editing needs whether you are a professional or hobbyist who needs to produce projects for hire or fun. I bought the slightly more expensive M2 Pro in order to future proof my purchase. I wanted the extra Thunderbolt 4 ports as the cheaper M2 Mac Mini only has two ports. It also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. By the time you increase the RAM and Storage, you might as well get the Pro! I expect the M2 Pro will meet my needs for years to come.

Excellent
The price quality is excellent. I dedicate myself to video editing and I was surprised with the power it has ... my thick expenditure 14,800 dollars on Mac Pro 2019 with 16 Gb of video 96 Gb of ram and 16 cores and we put it to render at the same time there was only 1 minute and average difference we were surprised because this Mac mini with 16 GB of ram and 16 video cores flies and solar ossary 1200 pains the same thing happened to record the program in premier Pro that there was only a difference of 2 minutes between the two Macs it is simply an airplane for video or photography that you see Apple was surpassed I leave a photo of the 25-minute tempo tuna lines render and it takes 4 minutes to do it
