Description
Features
8K-10K
AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables can transfer up to professional 10K Ultra HD video. The incredible 48Gbps data rate is made possible by four balanced audio/video pairs each capable of 12Gbps, enabling a surprisingly stronger audio/video experience.
4K Performance
In addition to enabling the 48Gbps data rate, the improved materials and design of AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables significantly benefit the overall performance of your 4K system. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are completely backwards compatible with existing 4K devices.
Gaming
Supports enhanced gaming features (4K120, VRR, ALLM, QFT) for optimal performance from Sony Playstation 5 (PS5), Microsoft Xbox Series X, Gaming PCs, etc.
Solid Long-Grain Copper Conductors
AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables use solid conductors to defeat both electrical and magnetic strand-to-strand interaction, major sources of distortion in cables.
Noise-Dissipation (Level 1)
“100% shielding” can’t guard against noise created by today’s Wi-Fi and cell devices. In addition to all 19 HDMI conductors being Direction-Controlled to reduce RF Noise, AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables use advanced techniques and materials to enhance overall performance.
eARC
The Audio Return Channel sends audio from the TV to a soundbar, receiver, or ARC input. “enhanced” eARC is easier to use and enables lossless multi-channel. In AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables, the eARC conductor pair is internally controlled for direction to ensure superior audio performance.
Direction-Controlled Conductors
AudioQuest Pearl 48 HDMI cables use Direction-Controlled conductors to minimize RF noise. For optimal Noise-Dissipation and superior audio performance, use Pearl 48 HDMI cables with the plug's arrows pointing towards the TV, or Source towards A/V receiver.
In-Wall Rated
Can be safely and easily used in walls.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
AudioQuest HDMI cables are precisely manufactured to ensure a high level of reliability, and are backed by a non-transferable, limited lifetime warranty. Proof of original purchase is required; other restrictions apply. Valid in the US only.

Samsung Q90T/PS5 upgraded cables
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Recently upgraded all of my home TV HDMI cables. I just purchased a new Samsung Q90T and also scored a PS5 on launch day. Because of the new devices, I decided to upgrade my cables to support 4K and HDMI 2.1. For years I was running very old outdated HDMI cables that were supplied by whatever product came in the box. I didn't realize that not all HDMI cables are made to support all devices. I did tons of research and determined that AudioQuest provided great cables for a great cost. I would highly recommend upgrading your HDMI cables if you have or are thinking about purchasing any new gen audio/video equipment. Old devices can operate using old 1.4/2.0 HDMI cables but if you have new audio/video equipment (2016+) your devices will run at their optimum performance using 4K/8K/10K wiring. DONT use the manufactures supplied cables as they are very cheap quality and wont provide top performance. AudioQuest is a little pricey in comparison to other brands but they are one of the few that actually are 2.1 certified. Definitely recommend if you are in the market for any audio/video upgrades/purchases.

Well worth it
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I know there’s been articles written that claim an HDMI cable that cost $10 is not different than a $100 cable. I’m here to tell you that whoever writes these articles may just be a fraud. I had my A/V receiver hooked to my eARC on my tv with a 8k 48gbps cable from amazon. That cable cost me $28. I bought some new speakers and thought that since I changed things up that I would upgrade my cables. I cannot describe to you the INSTANT change in not only picture but sound as well! Even my child commented on how different the picture looked. I had a very hard time committing to buying a cable that costs so much but I am now a believer. If you think of it as an investment that brings a noticeable difference and will most likely last a lifetime, than it doesn’t seem like such a bad thing spending this amount on a cable.

Great cables !
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. Not using these "in-wall" cables in the wall but they are really great cables for your system regardless. I needed high quality so i can pass DD+ streaming from my tv to my reciever through ARC so the receiver now decodes Atmos 5.1.4. I also use same cable from my BluRay player to reciever and it provides the same sound quality and HDR to the tv. No glitches !!

This is a very good cable!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.A bit expensive but this cable does it all. I needed a robust connection from my reciever to my tv so i can use ARC. Now when i stream either Netflix or Amazon Prime from the TV apps I get robust Atmos surround sound

Q: QuestionIs this cable Dolby Vision mark certified? I just got a new 4k apple tv and it won't work properly with our new Sony 4k television. The apple tv will not connect at 4K; only HD at a lower frame/refresh rate.
Asked by skywing1.
- A:Answer The max output for the Apple TV 4K is Dolby Vision @ 60HZ. If you are not seeing Dolby Vision as an option you'll need to set your HDMI input on your Sony TV to "Enhanced (Dolby Vision)". Once this is enabled you'll be able to select the Dolby Vision output option on the AppleTV and it will work.

Q: Questioni buy this cable AudioQuest -Pearl 5' 4K-8K-10K 48Gbps In-Wall HDMI Cable - Black/White at the store and a sony bravia tv 2020 65 inch model 950H but i cant get 120 hr in my gaming PC. is the cable the problem? can this cable at 3840 x 2160 give 120hr
Asked by ito.
- A:Answer Unfortunately, this issue is with your TV and not the cable. The Sony 950H only supports HDMI 2.0 (4K, 60hz MAX). Even though the TV is rated at 120hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.0 can support enough bandwidth to go over 4K-60p. To get 4K 120hz, the TV must have HDMI 2.1 inputs and you must use a 48gbps HDMI cable (like this one). Sorry for the bad news.

Q: QuestionHas this cable received the Ultra High Speed certification from HDMI.org? Is the Ultra High Speed certification logo on the packaging?
Asked by WKCP.
- A:Answer It does not have the certification. It seems to be working well without any cutouts. I have been keeping an eye on it. I returned the Black Pearl 18 GBPS I was using for the eArc as it experienced cuts. I replaced it with a lower costing, certified 18 GBPS and it works perfect. The 48 GBPS seems to be handling the job carrying 4k at 120. In hindsight I might have gone certified.

Q: QuestionI need a HDMI cord to attach sound bar to tv. This is the sound bar I want to know if this is what I need for this sound bar which does not come with a hdmi cord. Bose - TV Speaker - Bluetooth Soundbar with HDMI-ARC Connectivity - Black
Asked by Lyncamille.
This question was asked about the related product: AudioQuest - Pearl 2.5' 4K-8K-10K 48Gbps In-Wall HDMI Cable - Black/White
- A:Answer I purchased this because I didn't have an extra cord to match the Apple TV requirements. When I plugged the HDMI cable I use for our Sony PlayStations, I could not get 4k content to play on my Sony 4K tv. When I switched to the Rocketfish HDMI cord we purchased for our Roku 4k, I was able to connect with 4k and 4:2:2 video as well. I wanted to try the Audioquest cord for comparison, though the price was so high. I used my Elite plus coupons to get this cord discounted. I have to admit that I didn't think it would make much a difference compared to the PlayStation HDMI cable but I was wrong. Both the Best buy Rocketfish cable and the Audioquest cables give us such a much clearer picture and even the audio sounds cleaner and slightly louder than before! I really like both cables but to be honest, I cannot afford paying this much money for HDMI cables. I will stick with the Rocketfish in the future. Something I also noticed when I plugged in either cable, they are a bit tighter fitting. While not a problem to plug in, unplugging was. I had to firmly grasp the audio cable head in order to unplug the cables to move my Roku and Apple TV around. If your Bose speaker requires HDMI, I definitely recommend either cable. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionSince this is directional, I would hook this hdmi cable up from my tv's eARC to the Sonos Arc with the arrow pointing towards the Sonos Arc, correct?
Asked by Steely.
- A:Answer I hope you figured this out, but that's the incorrect way to hookup this directional cable. The direction refers to the video channel and not the audio return channel. The arrow should be pointing away from the soundbar and into the TV.
