Simply Superb
Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Features, Listening to musicCons mentioned:VolumeObviously a direct competitor to the iconic, white-colored product, having a personal-listening device with Bose-quality noise cancelling to try out was rather exciting for me. My Bose QC25 wired headphones which were first released back in 2014 have been my personal gold-standard when it comes to noise cancelling performance, so I would love to have this same capability in an earbud form. The QuietComfort Earbuds come in a soft-feel charging case which is able to recharge the earbuds WITH the rubber wings attached to them. As someone who cannot wear the white-colored product without aftermarket wings to keep them in my ears, being able to place the QC buds in their case with the wings attached is a huge advantage in my book. While this makes the case larger, it is still pocketable unless you wear really tight pants. The case measures approximately 3.5” x 2” x 1.25”, has an external USB-C port on it, has a very secure latching system, and includes charging lights on the exterior. The case can also be wirelessly charged via a Qi charger (not included). A 12-inch long USB-A to USB-C charging cable is included, but there is no AC charging block (pretty much the norm nowadays). I found the QuietComfort Earbuds to fit my ears extremely well and the soft tips and wings are almost identical to those on the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones for those who may already have them. These earbuds come with three sets of different sized tips and wings for different ears, so most people should find a comfortable fit. Each tip and wing is molded together, so there are three pair of differing sizes. The sound quality is typical Bose, which sounds very good to me, with crisp highs and punchy bass without being muddy sounding. Speech was extremely clear when listening to podcasts or having phone conversations and the person on the other end could hear me well, but this will obviously vary depending on what hardware they are using on their end. For a lot of people the noise cancelling is the important thing. My usual test is how well they handle noise from a gas lawn mower because I use my QC25s when I mow the grass. I wasn’t expecting these earbuds to have as much noise suppressing capability as over-the-ear headphones, and I was right, they don’t, but it is close. Close enough that I could easily use the QuietComfort Earbuds when mowing and not feel that the listening experience is being compromised much in any way whatsoever. One thing about the noise cancelling function that is new (to me anyway) and different from other noise cancelling headphones I have experienced is that the accompanying app for your mobile device allows you to adjust the amount of noise cancelling in 10 steps, from “none” to “maximum” and you can save three different settings and switch amongst them by double tapping on the left earbud. When you remove one earbud, the programming is paused and the noise cancelling to the other bud is cut. Your voice assistant (Siri, for me) is accessible through the buds and another adjustable feature I found really helpful, especially when talking on the phone is the ability to set the loudness of your own voice you hear through the earbuds when you talk, with the option of turning it off completely. People who use hearings aids that can stream music through the aids via Bluetooth will be happy to know that I was able to use these earbuds in my ear at the same time as I had my behind-the-ear hearing aids in. The sound quality for music from hearing aids is atrocious and it is very inconvenient to switch back and forth between hearing aids and earbuds when changing from listening to music and conversing with someone. I found this out completely by accident as I forgot I had my hearing aids in and put in the QC Earbuds and it took me quite awhile to realize I had them both in. The accompanying app is called “Bose Music”, not to be confused with “Bose Connect” which I had on my phone for another Bose product. This free app is very easy to use and does a great job in explaining the features and controls. There is a full user guide available on the Bose web site and through the app - the product comes only with a quick start guide and a thick book of warnings and precautions in a multitude of languages. Having struggled with product set-up in apps of other manufacturers, I found the Bose app a real pleasure to use. The first time I used the QC Earbuds I was a little disappointed in the amount of volume, but after fiddling with them, I found that fit in the ear is very important to their performance, both blocking outside noises and volume. While you have to twist the buds to get them seated properly in your ear, it quickly becomes second nature to do so when you insert them and you really don’t think about it once you get used to it. The only downside I can find is that I cannot control the volume from the earbuds themselves, I have to use my phone for that function. Controlling other functions on the earbuds is simple and quickly learned in no time. There are two functions you have to choose between using the app and that is skipping to the next track OR hearing the remaining battery life - you can’t have both functions, but remaining battery life is not that important for me. There is no “Back” function, so you will have to use your phone for that command. When the earbuds get low on power, a quick 15 minutes in the case will get you another two hours of listening time. Full charging takes 2 hours. When the case is fully charged, it will replenish the earbud batteries two times before needing to be charged again. Along with 6 hours of listening time from fully charged buds, all-day use while out and about is easily attained. I used to love my white-colored, wireless earbuds, and I still do, but I love the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds even more and i think anyone that likes the Bose sound signature will feel the same way about this product. Start saving your coin as you will want a set of these as soon as you can get them.

Awesome BOSE Quality Audio Earbuds.
Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Noise cancellation, Sound qualityCons mentioned:Bulky, VolumeBose - QuietComfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds – True Wireless In-Ear Headphones with Bluetooth Summary: BOSE quality audio ear buds with excellent noise cancellation capability. Pros: * Sound quality. The sound quality is excellent across the spectrum of frequency. The bass is comfortable and definitely "fills the room." I can easily get into a groove. * Excellent fit. I feel like these achieve better sound quality than my former Apple Airpods which always required me maneuvering them deep and tight into my ears. The Bose earbuds just fit - insert and rotate. Done. * Noise cancellation is eerie! It works extremely well! While working and I'm typing away on my computer I sometimes do double-takes. I can feel the keys give way under my fingers, but I don't hear the clickity-clack at all (I have the typomatic sounding keyboard). I didn't think I'd appreciate that, but noise cancellation definitely allows for better immersion. * Battery life is good. I place my accessories on recharge probably more frequently than I should. I've listened in a single session about 4 hours and I've seen that bring the buds down to 40-60% depending on interruption, volume, noise cancellation setting selected, etc. 6 might indeed be real. * Awesome case. I know it looks bulky compared to Apple Airpod case. But its functional, shows clear charging status and capacity, and is Qi inductive charging capable. Mighty fine. I also like that there is a hard clasp to keep case shut. Also, it has a hardwired port for charging - USB C - which is also great. * Microphones work well. I can take calls and hold meetings with these earbuds with no problems. They seem to be clearer (for those on the other end) than my Airpods. Cons: * Size. The size isn't bad, but they feel bulky. Time will tell if it will be a problem. Right now it seems like the removable fittings will keep the earbuds in place securely. * Mobile app. The application works well, but I feel the UI awkward or inconsistent. One bug: you can pair units to several devices. I have my computer and my iPhone. The app shows both. But even though it shows a toggle to disconnect from your phone, once you do that it disconnects... duh! So you can't toggle on the other device. So, you have to disconnect from device A first, and then manually connect device B. Not a big deal, but also not sure why the UI pretends to allow you to switch between devices in the first place. Use: I used these while working (from home), conducting conference calls, and also while playing computer games on-the-down-low. I also have a BOSE Soundlink and my car has BOSE audio as well. I feel like the quality of audio from these products surpasses that of other products I own (such as SONOS Ones). I figured why not check out their earbuds. They definitely let me get into the groove and I am excited to found great replacements for my previous earbuds which seemed to have too many problems holding a charge or inconsistently reporting *accurate* charge or maintaining stereo pairing. I highly recommend these particularly if you're not locked into a particular vendor's ecosystem.

Shockingly Good Noise Cancellation!
Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Features, Noise cancellationCons mentioned:VolumeI have several high quality headphones, both over the ear and earbuds. I have always preferred the over the ear when practical due to their superior noise cancellation. So when I first tried these Bose QC Earbuds, with an air conditioner, a dehumidifier and a fan all going simultaneously, I couldn't help but yell "Wow". It was absolutely shocking how well these earbuds cancelled the noise. The first thought I had was who am I going to give my other headphones to? And the noise cancellation is just one of the many good qualities of these earbuds. The sound is amazingly clear while providing good bass and a nice balance throughout the frequencies. Whether listening to music or voice, it was a pleasurable experience. Also, phone calls were as clear as any headphones I have ever used. And you can control how loud you hear your own voice during the conversation. As the name implies, these were not just designed to be quiet, but also comfortable. And to be honest the first time I tried them on I didn't think that they were as comfortable as I had hoped. They come with 3 different sizes of the rubber ear pieces which keep the earbuds securely in your ears. I tried on all 3 sizes, but eventually went back to the medium which is what came installed from the factory. Now I don't now if the rubber piece just softens up after use or if I just got used to it, but by day 3 they were so comfortable that I would have totally forgotten that I had them on if not for the amazing silence that they created. So Bose has succeeded in both Quiet and Comfort. The earbuds come in a case which will recharge the earbuds. There are led indicators on the case to let you know how much power is left and when it is fully charged. The case can be charged both wirelessly and with a provided USB-C cable. It has a very high quality feel. It locks closed and when you push the button it opens very softly. When placing the earbuds into the case magnets will grab the earbuds and place them perfectly inside. A light will then com on to let you know that they are charging. Bose has designed a new app for their latest products and it is very feature rich. These earbuds have so many touch features which allows the user complete control, but there is a learning curve. So I appreciate the detailed explanation of every feature in the app. There are simply too many features to mention in this review, but there are 10 levels of noise cancellation and you can create your 3 favorite levels and just tap on the left earbud to cycle through them. I also like that the earbuds will tell you the power remaining when you put them on and also by simply tapping the left earbud at any time. There is one major disappointment for me. These earbuds will only connect to one device at a time. I have other Bose headphones and have always appreciated that they can connect to 2 devices. To me this was an important feature that I expected to have on this device. The only other minor negative is that the earbuds do get warm when charged in the case. Overall these are feature rich earbuds with excellent sound and spectacular noise cancellation. They are comfortable and convenient and have relegated all of my other earbuds and headphones to my drawer. I highly recommend this product.

My new favorite buds
Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Listening to music, Noise cancellationBefore I even removed the earbuds case from its retail box, the quality was apparent. With the texture/finish of the box exterior and the padded interior of the upper box lid, I was impressed before they were even powered on. Connection to my phone was effortless. Open the Earbuds case, go to the Bluetooth menu of your phone and select “pair.” Done. This is my third pair of true wireless earbuds, and I can say without hesitation that these are the best sounding earbuds I have ever used. I’m listening to music I have known all my life (I’m 53) and hearing things for the first time. There’s multiple times over the past few days I’ve asked myself, “That’s always been there?” They sound terrific with any genre of music I have thrown at it. Rock, rap, R&B, pop. Heavy metal to classical. Even audiobooks sound great. For me, the most impressive quality of the sound is how clean the lows are. I’ve bounced back and forth between my previous-favorite earbuds and these Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, and in every instance, the Bose have a more pleasing, full, accurate sound. These earbuds are also capable of being the loudest set I own, but the sound is so clear that they don’t need to be. I don’t know how Bose did it, but even at low volume everything is crystal clear. I can’t say that about any other earbuds I own, wired or wireless. At any volume, it’s really shocking how much more detail and clarity these deliver. Everything sounds … right. If your TV supports it, I highly recommend pairing them with your television. I can enjoy my late-night action flick or video game and not keep the rest of the house up, and the dog doesn’t freak out with explosions and gunshots. I find myself wanting to use a lot of superlatives in this review, but they’re warranted. I have worn/used these earbuds for hours at a time, and while I won’t forget they’re there, they are easily the most comfortable earbuds I’ve used. My other sets have an in-ear design using what I consider to be the “normal” round, soft tips that seal tightly inside the ear canal, and they sound good and stay put, but they can get irritating after a short time using them. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds have a soft (so soft!) silicone “nozzle” design that seals comfortably against the ear canal (as opposed to in it). The result is excellent isolation from outside sounds and wonderfully clear audio. If I had any complaint, it would be that the proper fit against the ear can initially be a little tricky to achieve. With practice, it’s now almost second nature. The noise cancelling is so appreciated. These don’t drown out the outside world, as has been my experience with other products. While I’m in the office trying to get some work done, I can put the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds on, and the world just goes away. There are 10 selectable levels of noise cancellation. With it set to 0, I can listen to music and still carry on a conversation with someone or hear what is going on around me. I can see this being a necessity, for example, if I’m out for a walk. I wouldn’t want to step off the curb in front of a car or get caught by surprise as someone approaches from behind on a bicycle. As I increase the noise cancellation setting (using either the touch controls of the earbuds or the Bose Music app), the world around me gradually fades to quiet. I’m using them right now without music, windows open, and the sound of my neighbor cutting the grass is all but inaudible. This is awesome! Paired with my phone, I can use the intuitive touch controls to start and stop my music, advance the track, access the phone digital assistant, initiate calls, end calls, and also decline an incoming call. You can also customize some of the functionality from within the Bose Music app. It’s easy to use and very versatile. In phone calls, sound quality is exceptional. I can more clearly hear the person on the other end of the call, and my wife tells me there’s less background noise when I talk to her while wearing these. I almost forgot the case. It’s how you charge your earbuds. It has five LEDs on the front that show you remaining charge and also charge progress if you’re plugged in via the USB C connection. The documentation says that it supports Qi charging mats, so if that’s your preferred charging method, Bose has you covered. I drop my earbuds in there while I’m not using them, and they’re always ready to go. And it’s still going strong off its initial charge! In summary, I love these earbuds. At any volume they sound amazing. The materials and finishes used exude premium quality. I would recommend them, without hesitation, to anyone looking for all-day comfort matched with incredible sound.

Best earbuds out now.
Posted .Pros mentioned:Listening to music, Noise cancellation, Sound qualityCons mentioned:SizeI love these earbuds, they have really been a joy to use. The sound is amazing. They are loud which is good when living in the city with all the street noise. Plus you have the noise cancelling or have passthrough. Its perfect for working out, running, and even bike riding. Depending on your setting you can choose to use either mode to benefit you. I use passthrough when riding my bike so I can hear the cars coming or if they honk the horn. If I'm at the gym I use noise cancellation. I tried both modes to see how much of a difference in sound quality and I can assure you that noise cancellation is no gimmick. I played music watched movies and played mobile games with these and just wow the sound on these are unbelievable for earbuds. I have used several other brands and most hurt my inner ear and these do not hurt. I won't lie they feel like it could fall out but the way it was shaped and designed they passed all my tests. Not once did they fall off. I ran , jumped, shaked my head vigorously and they stayed on. Rode my bike on the bumpiest pothole infested street and nothing. I kept them on for about 4 hours and no pain in my ear. Bose really did a superb job with the earbuds. Phone calls were crystal clear they do block out most exterior noise and focus more on your voice. I went on a busy street with cars and trucks passing by it was very noisy, I spoke at my normal level and my friends say they hear me with no issues at all. The controls are pretty easy to get used to. Either double taps or press and hold. There are no physical buttons it's a touch sensor, there's also a custom shortcut that you can program from the bose music app. The app itself is nice and setup was very easy, it helped me choose the right ear tips. The case is almost the size of a joycon controller. I have pics to give you an idea of the size. The case is nice has magnets to hold the earbuds in place and locked securely. You can use a wireless charger with the case. You get an additional 2 full charges with the case so a total of 24hours of use. You also have a led light battery display on the case itself. Its USB C. They are pricey but it is well worth it. You get headphone quality sound in a small earbud design. I own the Bose qc headphones and when you compare the earbuds , the sound quality is very close to the same level. These are all the good things about the earbuds, it's not perfect but very close to it. One thing I would have likes is a smaller case. Again it's almost the size of a joycon controller and thicker too. I could not find how to control the volume level through the earbuds and how to rewind. These last 2 are important because when I do workout I hate having to look at the phone to do those actions. Maybe with an update this can be added on. Other than that the qc earbuds are the way to go.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Advancements are great. Noise counseling, overall sound, phone quality are a hit. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because the sports II or the 2nd tier Bose sports edition are far more comfortable in ear. These are also a little sensitive to touch as well. I need to read the manual for controls. So that last part is more than likely operator's error. I would really ask what you are using them for and find the appropriate pair because they really put the right titles on them

Amazing Earbuds
Posted .Pros mentioned:Battery life, Listening to music, Noise cancellationWow these Bose quiet comfort earbuds are nothing less than amazing. The ergonomic design and the high quality built provide the best comfort. I actually never thought they will be this comfortable since you have to plug them in your ear, I was impressed. When it comes to sound quality that’s where Bose really stands out amazing sound from these small little things. The music was loud, clear and the bass was actually punchy. You will be surprised how great the noise cancelation works once you put them on it feels like everything just mute. Another great thing is that the noise cancelling can be adjusted that way you don’t feel like your ears are clogged. These earbuds not just feel comfortable I took them out for a workout and they feel like they are glued and they don't come out. Setting them up was relatively easy, it took just a couple of seconds to pair them. Using a fast charger I was able to fully charge them in about 45 min and the battery lasted a little over 5hrs of non stop listening. In the box you'll get the earbuds, 3 different sizes of ear tips (one already attached to the buds), charging case, charging cable and instructions. Definitely recommend them an amazing product and do not disappoint.

Q: QuestionCan you access all features without using the without the Bose Music app that accesses data collection and account information like in the 700's? Not interested to share use information with Bose.
Asked by visitor18.
- A:Answer After calling Bose support the answer is NO. You must sacrifice your privacy and agree to data collection by Bose in order to use all of the settings, updates as no features. You can do a simple pairing via Bluetooth, however this will limit the settings and features. There are many excellent alternatives that are not this intrusive. Therefore I do not recommend this product. I will be returning mine
