A: Yes, the microphone is fully removable! I bought this to use when I first started streaming but since then I've upgraded to a standalone mic but still use this headset as my daily driver for FPS games and other games requiring full sound immersion. The audio quality is great. :) i also love always having a backup mic, just in case! You will LOVE IT!

The best for gaming: price + quality
I chose this headset based on several criteria that were very important to me: 1. The ear cushions had to be fabric (so my ears wouldn't sweat). 2. The microphone had to be detachable. 3. It had to be lightweight and comfortable. 4. It had to have a long battery life. Plus, it has nice, iridescent LED lighting.

Gaming head set
Super comfortable and lightweight headset! I can wear it for hours of gaming without it hurting my head or ears. The sound quality is great — footsteps and directional audio are super clear, which helps a ton in FPS games. The mic is also solid and my friends say I sound really clear. The wireless connection is fast with no lag, and the battery life lasts me through long gaming sessions. Plus, the RGB lighting looks awesome and adds some style to the setup. If you want a wireless gaming headset that’s comfortable, sounds great, and looks sick, the G733 is definitely worth it.
