Worst experince in 25 years
Posted .Great delivery by Best Buy. Out of box followed instructions but 1 disk was apparently being rebuilt. When rebuilt the system did not recognise the drive when the raid software was installed. The system then incurred a 30% cpu overhead from the software. The Ram disk install may have been to blame but after several attempts on 2 PC's I had to rebulid both as the widows recover did not fully restore the system. I work in America mainly but am in UK now and Buffalo refused to help as I had bought the product in the US. I will gladly throw my $200 away not to have such a problem ever again but maybe Best Buy techs would like to look at this product to prevent other customers having such problems. I can only hope that the rest of Buffalo products are somewhat better than this! The details are endless through to Blue Screen on Windows 7 AND never ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO ACCESS THE DRIVE. Instructions are also next to useless. I was trying to install this item on a HP Pavilion m7-1015dx so plenty of power and memory(16Gig)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
