A: Hey there! Thanks for checking in with us about this. If your unit is in Display Mode, the interior lighting will remain on even when the door is closed, and the proximity lighting is off. The interior light was designed to enhance the display of your collection. If you would like to turn Display Mode off, press the Display button again. A: Hello - The doors cannot be physically locked; however, this model does offer a lockout mode for when you are away and don’t want others opening your wine center. As soon as the door is opened the door alarm will sound. The interior lighting will remain off. If the wine center is connected to Wi-Fi, a notification can be received through the app that the door has been opened.
