okay two part review. part one, this is an ink refill cartridge. It functions as it's marketed. I don't know exactly how many pages I get from it, but I have to replace it at least once a year. The color a bit more often. part two a complaint about ink cartridge pricing. It's too high. I know it's the handle vs the razor argument, but its still frustrating. Handle razor?? Instead of paying $100 for the printer (the handle), they sell it for $60 or $70 and sell the ink at a higher price so instead of $15 it's $25. I don't know the exact figures, but a little plastic box with some metal connectors and a sensor filled with ink doesn't cost $20 to produce. Generally speaking folks need a printer and therefore ink. would I recommend this? I have to answer this question. very frustrating.

This XL size may last longer -a little longer. A bit expensive, the ink is high quality and seems waterproof once dry --even on plain paper it doesn't smudge or run with water spills. ** TIP ** to save on color inks: don't select "Grayscale Printing" in the print preference box (Win7) --that still drains color inks mixed together for grayscale, really! Instead, under the "Maintenance" tab & "Ink Cartridge Settings" is an option to use the Black Cartridge only. It will nag you every time you print, but will actually print using only the black ink, and let you save the color inks for when you actually need color printouts.

This is the black cartridge for the Canon MG3200 all-in-one. This is a great ink jet printer, especially with the Bluetooth wireless printing. Printer also has automatic duplex. I print music on it, with two-sided pages. The black image is dark and almost as sharp as laser. The monochrome laser is slightly sharper, and is cheaper to use. The laser toner cartridges last much longer, but when you change the cartridge, it's like installing several ink cartridges at the same time: the cost of the individual toner cartridge is much higher than an ink cartridge. The cost per page is, nevertheless, lower on laser. The MG3200 prints in vivid color, great for the covers for music scores.

Well, let's see. It's filled with ink. When installed in the printer, it prints on paper. This particular cartridge only prints black ink. 2 stars because: 1.) there's never enough ink in these cartridges to print what you need and ink always runs out mid way through printing something important. 2.) The cartridges themselves are very over priced. A necessary evil is probably the best way to describe this purchase. I only recommend this product because, well, what choice do you have? If you need a printer, you need ink.

I purchased a brand new washer and dryer. Washer arrived in truck and once wrapping was removed, a massive dent was revealed. Had to speak with various best buy personnel and was offered a $250 gift card for the damage. So far, they have only sent me one gift card that is worth $150 and still waiting for the remainder. The remainder sgould have been sent several weeks ago and still nothing.

I have a busy household with children and husband etc. Kids are always using the printer for school work , and hubby use it for work. I use for work and school. The ink last a long time my pet peeve is that it will say low on ink when it still print out paper for a while. I had this message for about two weeks and its still prints out paper. I will change the ink once it prints a blank page. Word of advice ignore low ink message, you will be wasting money when there is still more ink in the cartage.

It's ink. I mean, OEM ink will as a whole be good. However, it's expensive, and this printer does that nonsense where it does a "cleaning" cycle 5 seconds after every page, wasting ink to force you to buy more. When you make the setting "black only" it aggravates you with a nag screen that asks if you're sure u want to only use black since it wants u to waste color ink too for every page printed. I do not recommend Canon printers, wish Kodak still made printers.
