Darn good camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a “Don’t leave home without it kind of guy when it comes to my camera. However, there are times that I just don’t want to be bogged down by lugging a DSLR with me. I purchased it so I could have a compact, yet, very good camera. This particular camera meets what I was wanting. It takes very good photos. I love the powerful telephoto strength. It’s more powerful than the telephoto lens on my more expensive DSLR. It’s almost an exceptional camera. There are only a couple of cons that I can think of right now. It’s a bit heavier than I anticipated, and It has more bells and whistles than I expected. I can live with both of them though. I don’t like the lack of a view finder…but I knew about that before I made my purchase. All in all…I’m impressed with the camera.

Amazing camera for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a Canon mirrorless but wanted something even more portable. Biggest downside for removable lens cameras is that big zooms are physically large and very expensive. This camera's 40x zoom is incredible. It can even be boosted digitally. I'm now able to get wildlife shots I didn't have the reach for from my other camera. Still small enough to fit in a jeans pocket. I have heard others say the battery life on this isn't great but I have used it off and on all day on one battery with no issue. It takes pretty good video and with the zoom it's even more handy. The only two issues I have with this is you can't take RAW photos and that the 4k is kept hidden in it's own mode instead of just an option with the other video quality. This is a lot of camera for this price. I carry this with me everyday now. I hope Canon decides to keep up with point and shoots because they do have a place in the photography world.

Powerful Pocket Camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Wanted a Pocket Camera with Good Zoom Distance and this is It! Easy to Set Up and Get Started on Capturing what You Love. As You Get to Know this Camera Better it has Options for Manual Use that will Surprise and intrigue. If Manual is not Your Thing, All Automatic will do You just Fine. I Really like that I can Transfer Pictures Wirelessly to my Cell Phone, Tablet or Computer with the Canon Camera Connect App.

Wonderful for makeup tutorials!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just started up my YouTube and went to find a new camera when I saw this 4K camera I knew instantly it would be perfect for my makeup tutorials! I love how the screen flips up for a selfie mode too! And that it has WiFi so I can easily send photos to my phone too! How ever when sending videos it takes forever to send to your phone that is the only down side but over all I am obsessed with this camera. Insta: @midnightrain777

Just BUY IT! It's amazing.
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is absolutely amazing for anyone searching for a lightweight and useful camera. The pop up screen makes it SO much better! It's a must have for me, I love to take selfies and this is just the perfect camera. The buttons are super soft, the screen is HD, the pictures have an excellent quality, and the camera as a whole is not heavy at all! It's kind of a pocket camera, it doesn't take much room and it's super easy to carry everywhere. Also, transferring the pics to ur smartphone is SUPER easy, one click, and its done! Definitely one of the best cameras I've ever had. *Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. Canon SX740 HS ReviewThe Canon PowerShot SX740 travel superzoom may look very similar to its predecessor, the SX730, however there are significant upgrades under the hood. The SX740 gets Canon's latest DIGIC 8 image processor (the SX730 had a DIGIC 6 chip), which

Q: QuestionIs this camera any good for vlogging or should I look for something else?
Asked by LuisFont45.
- A:Answer I think its excellent for vlogging as long as your not in windy weather because then it takes long for the camera to focus but other than that the camera is awesome I use it to record sports to make highlights
Answered by Sargent25
Q: QuestionI’m having a Heck of a time getting my camera paired with my phone to transfer photos to phone from the phone.
Asked by Eclaire.
- A:Answer Make sure you have the Canon Camera Connect app on your phone. Make sure both the phone and camera are connected to the same WiFi network. Once this is done, push the WiFi connect button on the camera. It will then search for devices. Once it discovers it, you select it and name it. From that point on it will automatically recognize your phone. It works great once it is connected. However, if your phone goes to sleep while connected, it will disconnect with the camera. The app MUST be open on your phone the whole time you are using it.

Q: QuestionI'm concerned with lag time from when shutter is pressed and image is taken. I read one review where this was a problem on the SX740. I got rid of a Canon SureShot several years ago because of this very issue. Has anyone else experienced this?
Asked by Gigi08.
- A:Answer I did not have trouble. Obviously it is not as fast as an SLR camera, but I had no problem in taking shots in the amount of time I desired.

Q: QuestionThis camera was on Amazon for less money & it included accessories i.e. case, battery, tripod, memory card, etc. Two people had to return it and the camera wasn't under warranty because Canon said it shouldn't have been sold in the USA. Anyone experience?
Asked by RosL.
- A:Answer No issues with my camera. I absolutely love it & I’m covered under Best Buy warranty if something happens. I can take it back & get a new one or put my money towards another camera. Amazon maybe cheaper but u will only get 30 days with them. Hope this helps

Q: QuestionCan you enlarge the zoom shots to canvas 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 to display or hang?
Asked by Dee.
- A:Answer Yes. As long as you don't crop in post production, the amount of pixels and the optical zoom allow you print up to poster size, which is 36x24 inches.
