A: As long as the C90 has a dovetail with a 1/4"-20 threaded hole, it will attach to the Heavy-Duty Altazimuth Tripod.

Q: I asked if this tripod will work with a Celestron NexStar 114GT telescope? Reply was no, weight of the mount would exceed the capacity of the tripod. I’ve now only got the tube and a friend suggested using Antares or Sky Watcher Tube Rings? Thx

A: If Tube Rings are used to hold the optical tube, make sure the dovetail bar that holds the tube rings is threaded to accept the Heavy-Duty Alt-azimuth's tripod's 1/4”-20 mounting bolt.

A: The Heavy-Duty Altazimuth's 1/4"-20 is not compatible to with the NexStar 114 GT telescope. In addition, the tripod cannot support the weight of a GT mount plus the optical tube.
