A: You will have to install the Corsair iCue software

A: You would need to purchase a Lighting Node PRO and an RGB fan hub, or purchase the triple pack of LL fans which includes them.

Q: How many fans are in the box?

Q: Do I need the node pro for this or just plug it into the motherboard?
A: You can just plug it into the motherboard as it has a typical 4 pin connector, but the rgb lighting simply won't turn on at all. This is because there is another cord that has rgb connectors on them that will just sit there hanging unless you plug it into the lighting node core (which... Again... Handles the lighting). The core controls all rgb lightings for your Corsair fans.
Q: Will these be compatible with the ASRock B550M-C motherboard?
A: Hi Shaun92Vegas, Yes, this fan is compatible with that motherboard. However, if you do not already have one of our RGB fan lighting controllers (ex. Lighting Node CORE, COMMANDER CORE XT, etc.), then I suggest looking at our RGB fan kits, which include a fan lighting controller. A: No it will not to enable the led function you need to hook up the lighting node pro not only to usb header on motherboard but to SATA power. You also need to use the Corsair link software to control the fan led
