PC built with terrible heatsink, otherwise good.
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Start this off by saying this computer is awesome. It's very pretty and decent price for these times. No issues on first boot up and everything came in great condition, nothing broken and cables tucked away. However, after fter finally installing games, I booted up Apex and made it to select a character before the PC shut off completely. Started it back up and downloaded various CPU software to monitor, and noticed temps (Celsius) were in the high 50's and 60's just on desktop with few programs running in background. Started Apex back up again and temps started climbing into the 70s before even starting the game. Once in game, I was borderline 100 degrees celsius on a couple cores with one reaching 100. Median temps were between 80-95 degrees celsius which is VERY high. Of course the PC shut its self off again, it was overheating. So I started checking the hardware. Thermal paste was applied terribly, so I redid that. No luck. Noticed the fans were flipped around to what would be opposite of 2 intake and 1 exhaust, which is ideal for this cases setup. Flipping those didn't make a difference. I got a suggestion that the heatsink may be the problem, which would make the most sense seeing as how tiny it is to cool a chip like the 11700F. Fortunately for me, I had a hyper 212 from an old build and replaced it without issue. Booted up PC and started running heavy loads (Apex, video, browser at same time) and temps were steady at 40-55 Celsius. Problem. Solved. PC is now running perfectly. I am disappointed that cyberpower would ok this pc build for customers with a terrible heatsink. If I didn't have experience in replacing hardware or knowledge to figure out the issue, it would be a return to the store which can become and inconvenience to most. I expect a prebuilt to come out the box ready to go and handle everything thrown at it without crazy issues like mine. I hope it was just an issue to me and no one else to not have to deal with it. Still, 4 stars cause it is very nice once its running.

BEAST of a PC but upgrade it first.
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Lets start off by saying that this setup is a complete beast of a unit! I’ll describe every part this pc comes with and my experience so far. First things first, CHECK THE WIRING!!!! I found a connector that was about to rip off of the hardrive so check everything and I recommend cable managing everything to your taste. I’ve included pics of the pc before I cleaned it up and added a rgb/fan controller so you can see how bad it is. Not horrible but still -1 for cyber power. So in the box you get a cyber power exclusive case (I think it’s a Lian Li 08) although it has a tempered glass front and side panel, the vents on the right hand side and top of the case allow for more fans to be added or even a 360mm cooler. The pc comes with 3 garbage fans and a stupid fan power splitter which I would highly suggest removing as soon as you get it and replacing with better fans/controller. Lets not forget the absolute trash can that is the CPU cooler. I tested it as soon as I booted the pc and temps shot up to 99 degrees within seconds. I resolved this by going overboard and completely tearing into the stock fan controller, cooler and wiring. I replaced all of it with a Corsair H150i elite capellix (overkill I know) and 3 extra Corsair sp120 fans which all run off of the convenient commander core that comes with the h150i. So now I have replaced the 2 fans on the right side of the case and turned them around for intakes, replaced and flipped the rear fan around as another intake and mounted the h150i 360mm cooler to the top of the case with 3 exhaust fans to keep the radiator clean. My cpu and gpu temps stay well below 65degrees now. It comes with an EVGA 3060, T-force 8x2 ram sticks (3000mghz), an asus b560 mb, a thermaltake 600watt 80+gold non-modular power supply (might upgrade to a modular since there’s a huge mess in the ps area). The 11700f is a monster and it does amazingly well with the 3060. I’ve played games like rust, rainbow six siege and lightly modded Minecraft with absolutely no issues at all and above 60fps at all times. I also run Cura and autodesk 3D modeling software with no issues and it’s blazing my fast compared to any of the laptops I work with. This is a great option for someone looking to game during the great gpu shortage and looking to upgrade in the future. Also it looks AMAZING!!!!

Good but upgrade cooling
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.the components are really good for the price, however i hit a CPU temp of 100°C when running apex on max settings. I bought a Cooler Master Hyper 212 and replaced the cheap cooler it came with (which was the main issue), and now it doesn't go above 75°C. I also flipped the 2 front fans and now its even cooler. Overall id say its worth it. you really cant get a 3060 for a decent price these days and for an extra $40 and around 1hr of labor (because i didn't know how to do replace the cooler) its pretty good. also side note the case it comes in is huge and the motherboard leaves room for future upgrades

An Amazing and Terrible Computer
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I just don't understand. This is an absolute beast of a machine, with a brand new 11th Generation i7-11700F processor, which reaches 4.8 GHZ when it needs it with Turbo Boost. When that happens, the CPU gets hot. Very hot. To deal with that, a computer needs a CPU cooling solution. The CoolerMaster CPU cooler that CyberPowerPC included is so awful, so cheap, and so wildly insufficient that it makes me question the entire concept of capitalism. Do they want this computer to be returned to the store? Do they want to part it back out and sell the 3060 on the grey market? Who is benefitting from putting such a deeply embarrassing part in a computer like this? Best Buy is unable to fix or replace the CPU cooler. CyberPowerPC is happy to send you the exact same CPU cooler that they installed when you tell them it is the problem. They proudly tell you it costs less than $19. Incredible. To add insult to injury, the case fans on the side panel are also installed backward, so there is no air intake into the case as delivered. If you plug this machine in, download the official Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool, and run it, this computer will blue screen and crash EVERY SINGLE TIME. Why? The processor immediately reaches 100 degrees celsius and automatically shuts off to prevent it from literally melting. All those other reviews? These people are not actually using this computer. They could have bought a $500 or $600 computer and been happy with it. If you use the turbo boost that the processor is designed to use for any sustained period of time, the processor will overheat and the computer will shut down. Rendering or converting a video? Complete shutdown. Open up any video game made after 2019? Complete shutdown. After asking around, I put a FUMA 2 air cooler in it. The Intel Diagnostic barely reaches 70 degrees celsius now. I added a few more fans and some pretty lights too since I already had it open. The case is enormous, and has room for up to 7(!) fans besides the CPU cooler. The motherboard is high quality and comes with ASUS Aura Sync slots for hooking up light strips. Because of that, it's actually a little disappointing that the included RGB fans are installed in their own little closed loop, so they can't be controlled by the BIOS or anything besides the little remote control that they come with. The RAM is solid, the hard drives are high quality, and the GPU is the real star of the show, an impossible to find/purchase EVGA GeForce RTX 3060, with 12GB of VRAM to chew through whatever you throw at it. It's now the computer of my dreams. It can be yours too, but only if you install a new CPU cooler (and switch the case fans around for proper air flow).

Great bang for buck! But UPGRADE cpu cooler FIRST
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Amazing desktop for the price!!! Got an Evga 600w 80+ pw supply Evga RTX 3060 Viper ram sticks (2x8) But I read the reviews before purchasing like you should do. I ordered a cooler master upgraded CPU cooler ($46) till I could afford/want the liquid cooled cpu cooler. And also flipped the 2 side fans to take in air instead of blow out. Owned for a week and I stream along with running triple monitor set up and the hottest my CPU has gotten is 68 Celsius and gpu 72 Celsius. So I’d say it working great. Wish the HDD was 500gb and the SSD was 1tb but it’s got two M.2 NVMe slots so I just ordered a 1tb so add more storage for gaming. So UPGRADE CPU cooler and rotate the 2 side fans for proper air flow and youre GOLDEN!!!

Excellent Prebuilt Gaming PC if you are tech savy.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This is a great deal. PROS: The individual parts alone would cost me a few hundred extra dollars to build myself. The RTX 3060 is a surprisingly good graphics card (I got EVGA XC). The i7 11700F is a solid CPU to pair with the 3060. The case is a great case to work with. Good air flow, fans, mesh and cable management solutions. The pc did work out of the box. No bloatware or issues loading up windows for the first time. CONS: Only 1 of the fans had power when I booted up. I was able to check the connections and determine which power cable had come loose. I also switched the 2 side fans to intake. I booted up again and ran a stress test using Intel XTU. The CPU hit 100 degrees Celsius very quickly. I powered off the PC and switched out the CPU fan with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2. The case allowed for easy install (both side panels and top panel are removable). I reran the test and stayed under 80 degrees Celsius. Recommendation: Great prebuilt gaming pc for the price. With some above "user level" pc knowledge and youtube this PC can be amazing. I was even able to remove the RGB light from the stock CPU cooler and install it in the top of the case for extra airflow and lighting. Very pleased with the overall purchase.

Cyber Power Pc
||Posted .The pc so far is going great. No errors, no nothing. There's just one thing though... The cpu cooler is so bad. I couldn't afford a cpu cooler so just make sure you flip the two fans in the front so that it's intake and won't overheat while playing games. Otherwise, great pc.

First PC and spec, great but....
||Posted .So far this PC is amazing. I have not tested the gaming ability to its fullest. Still installing things and not sure if I have the motherboard driver already installed. I know everyone is looking for specs so here they are Intel i7 11700, Motherboard Asus Prime B560M-A AC (the driver is a cd and asus doesn’t have a DLC), Memory 16G DDR4, graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 EVGA. Start up guide could be better for first timers. I’m getting all my “what to do first” info from YouTube.

Q: QuestionBeen reading reviews about people’s over heating problems, just wondering if everyone has to replace the cpu cooler and replace their heat syncs
Asked by Farriswheel.
- A:Answer If you plan on doing anything other than watching Netflix or browsing reddit with this PC, change the CPU cooler and flip some fans around to intake. After reading all the reviews about the CoolerMaster CPU cooler that comes installed and the fan configuration, I immediately installed a Noctua NH-D15s chromax.black CPU cooler and flipped the side panel fans around to intake position. CPU doesn't exceed 60C with CPU-Z benchmark or CPUbenchmark.exe and is putting out some impressive specs.

Q: QuestionHow long can I play on this before it starts to get hot?
Asked by Arcc1.
- A:Answer Based on reviews prior to purchasing I went ahead and got a water Cooled AIO to sub out the CPU fan as soon as I bought it. I ran pretty intense games for a day or two before I made the switch and the temp in the case hovered around 50-60 during gameplay. After I put in the AIO I see 40 to mid 50s depending on what I'm doing. Long story short, you can get away with what comes stock. But if you want to play it safe and modify, there's always room for upgrades.

Q: QuestionDo you need to take out the motherboard in order to install a new CPU cooler?
Asked by sushi.
- A:Answer At least with the setup that mine came with, no. I disconnected the cables, unscrewed the 4 screws holding the cooler to the mobo, put the new cooler in, and plugged in the wires. Fairly painless process.
