Danby - Designer 2.6 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge - White

This is my 2nd one of these. The 15 yr. old one has been moved to the garage, having always had a problem building ice-dams at the interior drain hole no matter what I did or how many times I moved it; it now works perfectly for some reason... This new one has Never had that problem! I took a chance on this model again because it's the only one I could find without a hinge cover that sticks up and keeps me from being able to put my office printer on top of it and opening the bottom paper drawer, and it's All Fridge (no freezer) which is what I want for beverages/snacks in the home office. I chose Best Buy over the 2 other retailers because of their return policy in case of a problem, and they have a local store to return it to; the return shipping $ would have been ridiculous. Energy Star.

This is the best mini fridge (without the freezer). Quite works well and arrived quickly. Gave it to my friend son when he started college, still going strong.

Great mini fridge thus far love the none freezer part of it more space for what is needed. Just wish it had more option for interior space. Overall very please with it though bit pricey as well but great.

Excellent fridge for game room (my use) but also for a dorm room or other space that needs ro hold extra drinks and food.

So far so good. I really like the design of this refrigerator. The cooling coil is along the back wall of the interior which is a better design than the traditional horseshoe cooling coil that many small refrigerators have which takes up shelf space in the interior. The trade off is that you can't make ice with this unit but that's fine for what I bought it for as I don't need it to make ice. It's a little pricey compare to others in the same size range but it was highly reviewed and the design is what I was looking for.

Biggest worry on any mini-fridge is the noise, especially if you have it in a small bedroom, near the bed like I do. Thankfully, this is a super quiet unit. Very slight hum, and when the compressor kicks in, it's very quiet. No rattles, no shakes. Holds a good amount of beer bottles and cans. I say go for it if you want something that keeps things super cold and is very quiet!

Bought for my daughter's dorm room; needed something as quiet as possible. Not only is it quiet, but it works great and has a nice bit of style to it.
