The harsh high-desert of the Pacific Northwest offers a large variety of environments in a single geographical area
One minute Deacon can be riding through a pristine forest, a snow field, a lush meadow, and the next, be in the harsh desert lava fields
The hazardous environments, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity, are defined by ancient lava flows, mountains, caves, cliffs and river basins, delivering a breathtaking backdrop to an equally diverse style of gameplay
Cinnabar mines, lava tube caves and small rural towns offer a variety of environments to explore
Exemplifying true, free-form gameplay, Days Gone offers freedom to explore, strategize and play “your way.” Every challenge can be approached and completed in an almost infinite number of ways.

Another Great Exclusive!
|Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.I absolutely loved Days Gone. The characters grew on me the same way as they did in the TV series The Walking Dead. The hordes of mutant freakers are something out of World War Z. Combat with them can be intense as you face off with what feels like a hundred of them at once. The game is fairly long and with it being open world there are a ton of things to do. You will spend a lot of time traveling on your motorcycle which has a lot of customization options. You can change almost every aspect of your bike from the engine, tires, suspension, gas tank, muffler, and more. There are plenty of paint options for your bike and some unique designs that can be unlocked from completing objectives. The survival elements of having to find gas and scrap to fix your bike really add to the immersion of the game. Crafting in the game is a lot like The Last Of Us as you will scavenge resources to create items for use in combat. There are also plenty of weapon options that can be unlocked from outposts ranging from pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, smgs, and a crossbow. There is even options for survival mode and the ability to reset freaker hordes for unlimited replay value.

One of the Best Narrative experiences on PS4
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This Playstation exclusive title has one of the best video game narrative experiences in recent years. While its expanding open world map contains a handful of different activity types to complete, it is the many twists in the Main Storyline, the ones that keep you hypnotized in front of the tv for hours at a time. I highly recommend this title.

Really Fun in a Nuanced Way
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Pros mentioned:Fun, Gameplay, GraphicsYou would be forgiven for thinking Days Gone is like every other zombie game out there, and in some ways it is. But it's got enough to make it stand out in terms of the gameplay, story and themes. I haven't beaten it yet but the open-world gameplay mixed with Last of Us-style crafting and survival was right up my alley. That combined with motorcycle traversal, stealth takedowns and GTA-style side missions made this a really fun game to sit down and play. The soundtrack is also really good, from the main theme to the scary beats that play when night falls and the zombies become more dangerous. And the graphics look great and showcase some beautiful vistas based on the Oregon countryside. They really nailed the feel of this game, and while it's not the most original thing you can find, it's definitely one with a lot of heart and soul put into it.

Amazing Game that is very underrated, very fun!
Posted .Pros mentioned:Fun, Gameplay, StoryCons mentioned:BoringThis game has been so much fun to play. I enjoyed GTA5 and mostly play first person shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield 4/5. There are very few games that keep me interested throughout the story. I've played games like Farcry and Assassins creed and they get boring because the fighting and shooting engagments get boring. Farcry 5 I was able to run and gun through every engagement and it wasn't fun. This game is the best game and most fun since GTA5. It feels like GTA5 but with zombies and a more narrow vehicle and world mission outlook. The shooting mechanics are fun and challenging and the Storyline is captivating and very fun throughout. Just when I thought I was getting to the end of the game, a new part of the map opened up and a whole new world/atmosphere came about with new missions. The vehicle is simple, you have a motorcycle throughout the game but there is plenty of performance upgrades and cosmetic upgrades to keep you wanting to earn money and camp credits. Usually scavenging in open world games is pointless but this game really makes finding bottles and kerosene and plants throughout the map important to be able to take on the zombies. You can go through the game mostly avoiding fighting massive hordes of zombies, or you can take on every group you see. You can approace each engagmenet tactically or guns blazing and each is very challenging. I have been playing this game for weeks and i'm still excited each time I play to see what the next mission or area will reveal. Please give this game a chance, it is a classic that can't be missed. I enjoyed this game more than Red dead redemption 2 and it's the most fun i've had since GTA5 and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. This has to be one of the top 5 greatest games ever made if not top 3. The company that made this game has not released a game since 2012 which was Uncharted. That shows you that they have been working on this game a long time and don't release games every year to make money like COD and other franchises. This game is one of a kind. Check it out! It is worth the buy, hours and hours of fun, challenging gameplay.
