Finally on DVD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final Tom Baker story is now available on DVD, and it was worth the wait. Those who've only experienced the Zygons from the 50th anniversary special should check this out to see where they came from -- it's a great story that rarely disappoints. They've done the usual excellent job at restoring this -- I can't help but notice that one of the weaker shots, the one of the Loch Ness Monster in London, has been stabilized so that it looks a lot better. All this and bonus features too! The documentary is interesting, plus there's a nice vintage piece about oil rigs hosted by Elisabeth Sladen. And the fabled "lost" opening of Episode 1 has been discovered and lovingly restored, allowing us to see this as it was originally intended to go out. tl;dr: This is an excellent example of 70s Doctor Who, with great special features.

Brain of Morbius
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am glad that I purchased this one. Another Tom Baker classic. Can't wait till they put all 7 seasons on blu-ray which they only did 2 so far. This was more about the Time Lords and their link to the planet Karn. If you don't have this one, it is a must for your collection.

A Classic that some find controversial...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because it has a certain scene that has led to something in the 12th season of the nuWho that some think makes a mockery of the rest of the show. Myself, I see it as bringing back an old mystery for a new take, and look forward to the revelations to come. This though, is the serial that many say would start it all. Great serial with a great Doctor (you might say The Greatest).

Best Doctor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tom Baker is the best Doctor along with Sarah and Harry. I hope they will continue to make all of the Tom Baker seven seasons on bluray. But for now collecting on DVD adds to my collection to watch for now.
