A: Hi, this is Summer with Dyson. For the Dyson V11, there is a purple filter that can be twisted off. The filter will only need to be replaced, if damaged. Q: Is this easy for an elderly lady to use and empty filter
A: Very easy use and move it around. The dust pan is also easy to remove and pop open to empty. I am also a senior at 74 years of age.

Q: Does my geek squad protection plan get me longer exchange at store
A: I believe so if you have a breakdown, you can take it and get a new one. Now that is contingent on the V11 still being in stock at the store. I had the V10 and loved it for 4 years. Broke down in 2023, went to geek squad since I had protection. They did not have my vacuum at the store, had to order it online because the store had discontinued to sell it there, so keep that in mind.
