So I have purchased 4 more to give to people who might want one for themselves. Great price point too.!! It has 4- settings with this light. High, Low, Flashing, then when you first turn it on, it's comes on High.. Then if you press and hold the power button down it starts to slowly dim to your desired setting.!! Vince. R.

Best flashlight ever!

This one shines all the way through our two story house, allowing you to see during a power outage. We even tested it down our street from one end you could see the flash on the other end! Plus, it takes regular AA batteries, not some hard to find ones...

- A:Answer There's a diagram on the outside of the cap to the battery compartment, indicating the batteries are all inserted with the positive terminals down, facing towards the light end of the flashlight.

- A:Answer How did you decide it only puts out 900 lumen? I have a 900 lumen LED flashlight - different manufacturer - and this 1300 lumen LED flashlight. (I need bright flashlights for my work.) This 1300 lumen flashlight is clearly brighter than the 900 lumen flashlight, especially when I'm inside a totally darkened structure. I am happy with both of my lights. Not so much for the 350 lumen one I bought previously for the same reason. It works well and is well-made - it's just not bright enough. These two (900 and 1300) are awesome.
