I read reviews online before purchasing, and waited until it was on sale to purchase. I'm glad to see the game play hasn't gotten drastically harder. It was a big jump from 15 to 16, that took me a while to get a hold on. This edition the game play is harder, you can't get around a defender as easily as you used to, your dribble timing has to be on. They have made corner kicks and penalties more difficult to get right. I was able to get a handle on corners after a few tries. Penalties are more difficult still. The graphics are amazing, very realistic, for those known players, who they took the time to get right. The only thing that annoys me about game play is when you are driving toward the box, about to shoot or something, your own teammate will run across you, or not jump out the way, when you make the shot. Resulting in you getting blocked by your own player or getting an offsides call. They still haven't fixed this. Good game.

FIFA 16 was a decent game, but had it's issues on the gameplay front. FIFA 17 appears to have addressed this through a revamping of the player AI. You notice this on both sides of the ball. The Defense seems more aware of their positioning and also begin to anticipate your offensive style, if you keep trying to attack them the same way throughout a match. The addition of the Frostbite engine makes the animations and player expressions look phenomenal. I can only imagine what this would look like in 4k. Gameplay in FIFA 17 is improved and makes it feel more simulation like, which is not how I felt about '16. 2017 is turning out to be a great year for Soccer fans, as FIFA 17 delivers an awesome gaming experience. GO GET IT TODAY!!

This game is nothing but unique. I was both satisfied and dissatisfied with this game. The improvements from this game I thought was the passing. Passing was impressive and makes me feel I'm watching an actual game. The graphics are actually a bit better in terms of gameplay. Ok now for the bad news. 1.SHOOTING! Big disappointment!!!!!! OMG it's terrible. All my shots are low and now inaccurate. The long shots are nice tho but shooting is a letdown. 2.FC Barcelona. This whole exclusive rights to a team with fifa and pes is getting out of control. Fifa will always be a favorite outside of Japan. They need to stop this and let both games liscense everything. Fifa needs to bring Camp Nou back because if not I might stop buying fifa. Also, the club news was really nice they should bring it back. And please try to add more international clubs and leagues. That can boost fifa sales

This year edition of Fifa is fun. The Journey is surprisingly enjoyable and offers an experience similar to MyCareer from the excellent NBA 2k series. If they build on this by allowing you to have your own created character play out his Journey through the end of his career and add improvements in incentives, FIFA will become a bigger gaint in the sports genre. The Career mode is excellent and fun. The gameplay is well paced and technical. The 60 Skills Games help improve your game dramatically. The real teams stay updated throughout the season. Online play is awesome and stable. Playing as the Women's International teams is really fun! Seasons and Pro Clubs are excellent. FIFA Ultimate Team is as addictive as ever. Overall, this an impressive package and the best FIFA ever put out in the history of the series. Great 2016-17 for EA. They stepped up!!!!

So here's the thing, I love soccer (football) and have been an avid Fifa player since 2006. Every year EA always does the ol' "look at what we are offering that's new and improved" but in reality its not really that much. This year Fifa added a much needed single player story based mode titled "The Journey". This is in fact extremely awesome and i enjoyed every second although to some it may get a little lengthy at times. Putting some meaning behind each game and giving you the feeling that you are indeed an up and coming star cannot compare to starting the basic franchise. The acting was great and the story is making me ready for next year. Aside from that you are getting what you would expect out of a Fifa game. Updated rosters with tweaks here and there to improve on an already amazing football game. If you are new to the game "The Journey" gives it some appeal.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance/Gameplay: My review is for the PS4. Image resolution (gameplay and theatrical) is very good and the sound is good as well. Online playing is fast-paced and I love it!!!! I really recommend you use a good headset with this game if you want to hear every tiny sound on the game, especially when playing online. If you are not too serious about online playing, don’t go for the expensive edition of the game, since those extra features (and extra money) are for online playing. My kids and I love it!!!!! Can't wait to play FIFA 18. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door.

I had to decide between FIFA 17 and PES 2017 for my soccer fix. I purchased previous FIFA games, but lately it seems that they have been focusing more in the FUD features. I have heard nothing but praise for the new PES 2017, and I was really tempted. I played both demos, and even enjoyed the gameplay of PES more, yet FIFA still won in terms of licenses, stadium atmosphere, and the gameplay is still acceptable. Graphics for both are great, I like the convenience of not going through the trouble of finding roster files, unlike PES. I admit that I don't really play online much, so I wonder if I made the right choice since I hear PES is more single player centric. But either way, both games are good, so I am happy with FIFA this year. EA will have to step up their game next year if they don't want PES eating into their share of the revenue.

I have been a FIFA fan for a number of years. I wasn't impressed with last year's version, and found the gameplay frustrating and inconsistent. This year's version seems like an improvement, even though I believe the gameplay in PES 2017 is better. But I love the stadium atmosphere and licenses of Fifa, and I also enjoy the wear on the pitch and jerseys. The Journey storyline is my favorite, and it really merges together sports with an RPG style. The only issue is that it doesn't extend beyond 1 season. Still it is a good start that could lead to something better in the future. While I do recommend this game, I'm starting to think that EA focuses too much on the FUT features, which is why I believe PES was able to step of there game. For future releases, EA need to get the fundamentals back on track and not become complacent.
