Very impressed with this Fitbit!
||Posted .I have been wearing a Fitbit since the beginning (Fitbit Flex). I've also used the Flex2, the HR and the HR2. They have all improved on functionality and features as they progressed. But the Versa is outstanding. Not only does it do a great job at it's core functions (counting steps and heart rate), but it can sync to my phone for GPS tracking of workouts, I can change clock faces (which also allows the data to be shown differently), I can read my texts and incoming caller ID, and I can make simple responses to texts. It feels lighter than the HR2, is more comfortable, and is fully waterproof (to a certain depth). The silent alarms are also adjustable, so if you use it as an alarm clock it will wake you up (my main complaint about the HR2 was that the silent alarm was barely noticeable...) It has apps, and the Versa can stream music to BT speakers/earphones. I am regretting not getting the "special version" to try Fitbit Payments, but maybe next time. My only complaint so far is the battery life. I am getting an average of 3-4 days before I get the alert that the battery is low, which isn't horrible. It only takes about 2 hours to fully charge, so I will charge it when doing computer work or watching TV. The HR2 would last 6-7 days, but of course it didn't have nearly all the functions. I cannot compare this to a smart watch, since I haven't owned any, but I would put this more in the the category of a smart watch than a fitness tracker. I strongly recommend it.

Fitness goals
Posted .So firstly I want to make it extremely clear that I use my versa for purely fitness the rest of the functions are either pleasant or I just don't use them. So if you're curious about payment apps, music app, basically anything besides the fitness coach, steps, HR, and water resistance this isn't the review you wanna read. Also I think it's important to note I have a Moto E4 plus and I've had no issues with syncing (I was concerned and I wish people with syncing problems had given their phone info bc that feedback helps other buyers and the manufacturers to fix any bugs in the system). So now that I've gotten those important tid bits out of the way. I LOVE THIS WATCH. So I had gotten some cheap wish one ages ago bc I wasn't ready to commit to spending anymore than even 30$ bucks on a watch (wish I did it sooner!). I haven't regretted my purchase whatsoever. It is pretty accurate with everything, I have noticed heart rate issues BUT that brings me to an important note that Fitbit did not include in their info booklet. With fitness watches u should be wearing them ofc non dominant bc it does track steps by gps apparently but also u have to remember it's probably measuring ur steps by how u move ur arms as well. With the heart rate you wanna wear it underneath that bone on ur wrist, I don't know why don't ask me. I learned that from my wish watch bc in the instructions it said that and whenever I have an inaccurate reading on there versa I'll move it down past that bone and sure enough it's reading accurate again. I don't understand why they say to wear the band so it's able to move up and down slightly, I recommend u don't. Obviously don't have the thing so tight but it works w lights and any light coming in through any gap will give u heart rate inaccuracy as well. Now besides that I really can't give it enough verbal praise. It really is an amazing watch and I recommend it for anyone wanting to step up their fitness game. I really love the coach feature and the Fitbit app itself is super nice. I love how much they jammed into the app, I do wish I could connect it to my Lose it! account bc it's easier to track food than on fitbits app but lose it requires u to be premium to connect ur Fitbit so I can't knock Fitbit for that. I guess my last thing to note is I don't understand people's issue with the clock faces, I changed mine and it hasn't changed back at all. Also been going 2 days now and at 80% which is day and night to my old watch, that crap would need to charge every night could barely last 10 hours. OH ONE LAST THING: whoever said this felt cheap obviously has issues bc this watch feels quite luxurious to me! Granted if u expected metal I could understand but even then the plastic does not even remotely feel cheap. I've already dropped mine twice on the ground (sweaty hands after my run bc I don't like to shower w it just seems gross to me since it does get sweaty under the band and ya know dead skin and all) and not a single scuff

Great item to tracts every sleep stage but crashed
||Posted .My fitbit was great until is crashed in 5 months ago. It tracks my sleep with all sleep stages. It tracks my cycle, water intake, exercise, stairs without having to input it. It is better than my apple watch that does not include a feature to track any of the sleep states. I love this fitbit and recommend it to everyone. I even use refer my clients to it so that I may do biofeedback and track their sleeping patterns for therapy. I absolutlely love my fitbit. I cant text or answer calls from it but it does everything I need healthwise! Fitbit is replacing my device because it crashed after an update. I would give it five stars had it not crashed on me.

My Fitbit Upgrade
Posted .I'd been wanting to upgrade from the Charge HR, and had been going back and forth between the Ionic and the Apple watch. I have very small wrists, and the Ionic was huge on me. The small Apple fit better, but the expense was something I couldn't wrap my head around. My procrastination paid off when the Versa came out with its smaller and more attractive watch face. I will say that it is still a little large on me, but I'm getting used to it. Even with the small band on I have an excess of band remaining. I love that you can customize the watch face with your own picture. A couple of things prevent me from giving it 5 stars. First, I was hoping the Versa would not have the same flaw as the Charge, and that is when you are pushing a cart in a store, no steps are registered. But the Versa records no steps then either. Also if you walk up a flight of steps holding something in the arm your watch is on, it will not record the flight of steps, which was also true of my Charge. Trying to get my music from iTunes onto the watch was more time-consuming than I would have liked. You have to turn off Bluetooth on your computer for the transfer, and when you have a wireless mouse and keyboard, that presents a challenge. Only 17 of the 42 songs I was trying to transfer actually worked due to an error message. Overall, the Versa is comfortable to wear and does most of what I need it to do.

EVERYTHING I wanted...
Posted .I'm an avid FitBitter, since Spring 2015. I just upgraded from the Blaze to the Versa. I was so disappointed with the looks of the Ionic (not to mention size!) and I just knew, in the back of my mind, to wait. There HAD to be a "waterproof Blaze 2" coming out, I told myself... Well! Talk about patience being a virtue, I'm well rewarded by my wait! The Versa set up SO easily, it took a half hour to set up, but it told me this at the get-go. literally said make sure you've approx. 30 minutes. That's about all she took, and I'm up and running! Got "Nothing Special" as my first clockface, it loaded quickly and with no problems. I have not loaded my music on yet, but HAVE used it to control the music on my phone with perfect success! downloaded the calculator app, and the water logging app- thrilled to log my water via my watch! :) The 1.000 nit screen... idk what a "nit" is as far as electronics, but Woooooo! 1,000 nits! :D The grey band is very light-grey, and SO soft to the touch! This? Is the soft, comfortable, *waterproof* Fitbit of my dreams!

Otherwise, no complaints.
||Posted .I’ve always been a Fitbit girl, the Versa is my favorite one yet. A great full color display, the battery has lasted longer than advertised for me so far, and I haven’t had the connection to phone issues I’ve had with some other models in the past. I was able to find some really cute wrist bands for it (not Fitbit branded). I do wish the screen was edge to edge, there is a small bezel around the screen. Otherwise, no complaints.

Worth it
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. So far... Just got it today and so far loving it. Just 2 thing: I don't quite like the way how the time shows and I don't know how to change the degrees in the weather...other then that...worth the buy.

Love!!
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed. My two daughters and I got FitBits for Christmas. I got the versa and they got charge 3’s. We love them! I love that I can glance at my texts or see who is calling, see my step count, set a timer...and I love that we can challenge each other. We get weekly reports by email that compare steps. It definitely makes us all move more to win! I did notice that it doesn’t count steps if I’m pushing a grocery cart! After 6 months, they’ve held up well and we love them! We wear them daily!

Q: QuestionIs it waterproof or water resistant?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer It's water resistant up to a certain depth. It's made for swimming, bathing, showering, etc. You couldn't wear it if you were scuba diving or deep diving. Swimming is one of the exercises built into the watch and will track how many laps you swim, etc.

Q: QuestionI read one review that said that the Fitbit-Versa counted your steps even while you are driving down the road. Is that correct? Does the Fitbit-Versa count steps while you are riding in your car as steps that you have walked, or is that a myth?
Asked by curious.
- A:Answer Yes, the Versa counts steps when you're sitting at your desk and driving. I had mine charging one night and when I got up it read that I had walked over 12,000 steps one night and over 14,000 steps another night. The Versa is a total failure.

Q: Questionwhich Fitbit is the best, the Versa or the Ionic, or the Blaze? I want simple and easy yet I want it to show steps, heartrate, and different faces!
Asked by curious.
- A:Answer If you want all that, I would say the Versa would be the one for you. I've heard that the Ionic and Blaze are bulky. The Versa is slim and light weight with the different faces :-)
