It helps if your kids know what this is....
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendMy son is 8 - some kids in his summer camp apparently had this, however, I don't know anything about it. NOTE: there is not an actual disc in this box - it's just a slip of paper with a code on it that you have to enter into the Ninendo Switch to get the (whatever this is). I don't even think this is the actual game - you apparently can get the game for free on Switch via download, this is some type of "bundle" which gives them extra powers/costumes/options, etc.. Wish I knew more that I could tell you - I guess it's working as expected, I haven't heard any complaining from the young King about it.

The Darkfire Bundle for Fortnite includes legendary outfits, back blings, epic wraps, rare dual pickaxes, and an emote. It comes with 13 items: Dark Power Chord Outfit, Dark Six String Back Bling, Molten Omen Outfit, Molten Battle Shroud Back Bling, Shadow Ark Outfit, Shadow Ark Wings Back Bling, Dark Strikers Pickaxe, Molten Strikers Pickaxe, Shadow Strikers Pickaxe, Dark Angular Shift Wrap, Molten Angular Shift Wrap, Shadow Angular Shift Wrap, and Unification Emote.

Q: QuestionDo you need to have a basic copy of fortnite to use this or is this sufficient for my son to play on his switch? He downloaded the app to play on an iPad and I’m just not sure if this is like an add on to another game that needs purchased too

- A:Answer I didn't buy the bundle, but some of my friends bought it. Fortnite is free, but if you don't already have it, it'll download it anyways and this is just a code that gives your son cosmetic items, and if I'm correct, you only really need a Nintendo Account linked to your child's Fortnite/Epic Games account, if he has one. Just go to the official Nintendo eShop website and redeem the code there. If done properly, the items should appear in your son's locker. You should be able to access them on both the iPad and on the Switch

- A:Answer It is a physical copy in that it is an actual Nintendo Switch game case, but the only thing inside is a slip of paper with a code, no game cartridge since Fortnite is free to download.
