Q: Are there 4 or 5 cooking elements? Specs read 4 but looks like 5.
A: Hello! This model has four regular cooking elements along with one "keep warm zone" that will provide low heat for dishes that have already finished cooking but need to stay at serving temperature. ~Ashton
Q: Does this stove top come with a “underground ventilation”?

Q: Will this product work for a 50 circuit breaker? I have a 50 circuit breaker at home for the stove.
A: Hi there! Great question, the minimum circuit required is 40(Amps). I hope this is helpful to you and your shopping experience. ~Corletta
Q: What are cutout dimensions for top?
A: Hi, Rick! The recommended cutout should be 33-7/8 to 36-1/8 inches long, 19-1/8 to 20-1/2 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. This information is included in the Installation Guide! ~Ashton

A: Hi sue! Thank you for reaching out. For your Frigidaire electric cooktop, model #FFEC3625UB, the recommended cutout dimensions are 20-7/8" deep × 30" wide. Q: is this one induction compatible
A: Hi there, katkiller3! No, the Frigidaire 36" Electric Cooktop (model FFEC3625UB) is not induction-compatible. It features a radiant, smooth top cooking surface with traditional electric coil elements beneath the glass. These elements heat up and transfer heat through the ceramic glass to your cookware. Induction cooktops, on the other hand, use electromagnetic energy to directly heat compatible cookware, which is a different technology. If you're looking for an induction cooktop, Frigidaire offers models like the Frigidaire 36" Induction Cooktop (model FCCI3627AB), which is designed specifically for induction cooking. This model is compatible with induction-ready cookware and offers features tailored to induction cooking technology. - Maico

We owned an older version of this same cooktop and were happy with it. Due to a kitchen mishap we cracked it down the middle, so were in need of a new one. On checking measurements of 36" stovetops we found that getting the same brand and model made the most sense. Overall the cost and features of the cooktop are great. The eyes heat quickly and the newer model has a duel sized eye that comes in handy. The cooktop is easy to clean, even with cooked on spills. Two minor downsides: the chrome piece in the front scratches and dents easily, same as the older version. The second being we could never get the warming eye to work. It's kind of dead space to us. Reading the manual and making sure the warming eye was on didn't help. Overall I gave the cooktop 4 stars.
