Dented
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. We love the wine fridge. Do wish it had a slightly wider temp range to meet our personal tastes. However it came very dented in 2 places. Best Buy didn't offer anything but a return which would have been overly complicated. Not happy.

Poor Customer Service
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. The product itself is great. The one thing I loved about it is the duality of the two thermostats. I was able to utilize for wine and other beverages (aluminum and other bottled drinks. The one thing about the product that I was dissatisfied with was any bottles with a wider diameter won’t fit properly. Overall the product itself met all my requirements. I did however have an issue with the packaging and customer service. Upon opening the product I located several dents and damages just as other reviewers had spoken about. The fortunate thing was the damage did not affect the mechanics of the product, it’s just an eyesore. When I contacted customer service regarding my concerns it was suggested that I either return to the store or my nearest packaging center. Now, don’t get me wrong in any other case I would have however the weight of the product would have required assistance to lift. I offered a solution to discount the product but the c/s representative refused and still required me to bring to the store or packaging center. Needless to say this is by far the worst experience that I’ve had with purchasing, and for that reason my rating reflects that.

Too tight for wine!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I thought saving $200 would be a deal until I started loading wine bottles on the racks. The racks are not secured in the fridge, they are simply resting on a ledge. You have to lift the upper rack to place or remove some of the bottles, even normal sized 750ml ones. My next concern was the temperature differential between the top and bottom. For instance, setting the top (Whites) to 45 kept the top close to 45. If I set the bottom (reds) to 55, it would drop to 50. I can only assume the gap between the shelves and door allows this to occur. I did test this out for 3 weeks with 2 digital temperature gauges. I returned it and went with a single zone 48 bottle by Cosmo that has shelves on glides and can be pulled all the way out for viewing and access. Even though I paid more, I’m happy with the function and higher quality.

Wine with a side of mold
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed. While the "dual" zone is more just one zone. I am so disappointed with the wood shelves. While it is a little inconvenient that the shelves are not standard to fit bottles & have to pull them out to load or find a shelf for unique bottles to fit. The real frustration is that they continue to get black mold/white fuzzy mold and warp. I wish there was a replacement for them that would not grow mold on them. After replacing them the first time, I added a box of baking soda hoping that would have helped.

Q: QuestionFrigidaire 38-bottle wine chillerHave had this for a week now and am having trouble with pulling out the shelves. If the shelf is empty, you just lift a little and it pulls out. But if there are wine bottles on the shelf, it won't budge no matter how hard I pull. Is there a trick to pulling the shelves out? I'm seriously considering returning it.
Asked by AtWitsEnd.
- A:Answer Turn the shelves over and they won't latch on the back of the side supports.

Q: QuestionThe fridge does not seem to have a solid divider between the top and bottom zones at the glass door. Does it do a good job to keep both zones at the right temp?
Asked by Dualtemp.
- A:Answer I spent a long time shopping a wine cooler and ended up on this one. It was only when I got it home did I notice there was no solid divider between the 2 zones. I was curious how it could keep 2 different temperatures with open space between the 2 zones but figured maybe it was small enough it wouldn't matter. It also seemed strange that the Red wine is kept on the bottom and the white is kept on the top since heat rises and cold air sinks. Anyway, I have the top zone at 44 degrees and the bottom at 58 degrees. I put a thermometer in the bottom section and it is reading 48 degrees. So to answer your question, from what I see, this unit does not do a good job keeping both zones at their desired temperature!

Q: QuestionAre the shelves removable on this model (38 bottle wood shelving).
Asked by Wino8108.
- A:Answer Shelves are removable. We've removed shelves to give us more room - of course, this will limit the amount of bottles you can fit into the unit. But, it allows for nice access to some of the bigger designed wine bottles.

Q: QuestionDoes it accommodate 1.5 liter bottles? The typical size.
Asked by Vernthe4.
- A:Answer Yes, but you have to remove one of the shelves. We have a section dedicated to 1.5 litre bottles and it works great.
