Q: When do you anticipate this item to be in stock?
A: I will answer my own question. I got notifications saying I could preorder this item. However, Bestbuy's website gives no such option. Went to the store yesterday (3/2) and found a rep who said I couldn't preorder. Talked to another rep, who logged into a different ordering system and said I could order with an ETA of March 12. In short, customers appear to be an afterthought at BestBuy and workers seem ill-equipped/trained to help.
A: When I was searching for NVIDIA FE 4090, the store employee said I should signup for the PLUS membership and that will allow me to access special buy events for hard to find items. Knew it was fluff talk. So glad I did not signup. BB doesn't really offer any members special access to hard to find products like this one. You just have to keep refreshing and hope that you are 0.00001s faster than all the bots that buy it and sell on eBay for $2500
Q: What time on the 28th will this product go live on the site?
A: That's a good question. I've been waiting as well. It went from coming soon to "Sold Out" after midnight. The weird thing is, I didn't even get an email notification that it was available. I'm still gonna keep checking, but my feeling is that they never had stock to begin with.
A: Yes, this is the soon-to-be-released update to the Fujifilm X100V.
Q: Is the camera offered for sale one with a US Warranty or is it Grey Market, and is it New?
A: If you are buying from best buy directly then Item will be new with USA warranty however best buy now does allow third party so depending on the seller, answer may vary which you can verify by reaching out to them directly. Good thing is that you will most likely will be protect by Best buy return policies.
Q: Hi! Do any of the employees know when this camera will be back in stock?
A: I had a friend tell me that no Best Buy’s have it at the moment. I did some research of my own and it found that FUJIFILM moved their factories to Japan so that’s slowing down their manufacturing. It will also be tuff since the tariffs.
Q: Will this camera be coming soon online or in stores?
A: undefined

Assuming you’ve heard that it takes beautiful photos, has robust film simulation functionality, has decent battery life for a “casual” travel photographer (100ish a day, rarely had camera die), has slightly annoying menu UI. I took this as my one camera setup for a 6-month round the world trip. It held up to a lot of travel, rainy walks and more than one fall. Were there times I wished I had a larger lens? Sure, but the fixed lens forced me to create images that were delightful for unexpected reasons. I can’t recommend this system highly enough

I recently purchased this camera at retail price and it has been a very interesting camera. Honestly, I’ve been debating whether to keep it or not almost every day. When you look at the specs on paper, it feels overpriced… but the second you actually hold it, use it, and see the results, you’re reminded why everyone loves this camera. The biggest thing for me is the feeling of using it. The excitement I get from shooting with this is nothing like what I get from my Sony A7III and A6400. Those Sonys are amazing workhorse cameras, but they feel clinical and soulless. This camera makes me want to go out and create images. After going back and forth for the past two weeks, I’ve decided I’m keeping it—because keeping that photography excitement alive is worth more than a spec sheet. Now for the technical stuff. I really only have two major complaints: 1) Autofocus speed/effort (coming from Sony): It’s not “bad,” but it feels slow compared to Sony. Sony autofocus feels effortless—you point, it grabs focus, and you move on. With this camera, I have to be more intentional and sometimes work a bit more to get the focus exactly where I want it. For slower shooting (street, portraits, everyday life), it’s totally manageable, but if you’re used to Sony-level AF, you’ll notice the difference immediately. 2) Battery life: The battery life is actually bad. I don’t see myself shooting all day on one battery. I’ve already had to charge it in between uses, and I’m planning to buy extra batteries to keep on me. If you’re considering this camera, I’d honestly treat extra batteries as part of the cost. A smaller thing: the menu system could definitely be improved. It feels like a lot is going on, and it’s not as intuitive as I’d like. I’m sure I’ll get used to it more over time, but it’s not a smooth experience at first. I attached photos of how I set up the camera, plus sample images I’ve taken with it (including a couple of recipes and some Lightroom edits). Overall, if you’re the type of person who cares about the shooting experience and you want a camera that makes you excited to create, this is one of those rare cameras that actually delivers that feeling—even if you have to accept the focus and battery compromises.
