Q: Can you disable the automatic lock feature?
A: Yes, you can. 1. Press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Release. 2. Press the “9” key. Release. 3. Press the “0” key. Release. There will be two shorts beeps and the display will flash "UnLo" to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. -Vikki@GEAppliances
Q: Does the control panel light up? or only the clock
A: Only the clock, and the display is not very bright. (for White model)
Q: How long is the power cord for this model?
A: This model has approximately a 39" power cord. On countertop only models, the plug is a straight plug that sticks out approximately 2". Joyce@GEAppliances
Q: Is there a minimum required clearance above this microwave?
A: Yes, microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. The clearance requirements for this unit are listed below: -3" of clearance on both sides and the top -1" clearance in the rear -The front edge of the Microwave (measured at the door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping
A: We are happy to provide guidance with microwave. The difference between a 1.6 cu. ft. microwave and a 2.0 cu. ft. microwave is the size of the internal cavity. The 2.0 cu. ft. appliance is larger. In regard to watts, the higher the wattage, the higher the power level.
A: You can open the microwave's door by pressing Cancel/Off or Start/Pause first, then press the door release button on the front and pull the door open.

great product
I bought this microwave a little over two years ago, and honestly, it still works like brand new. I use it almost every day for heating, defrosting, and even cooking small meals, and it’s never given me a single problem. The performance is super consistent — everything heats evenly and quickly. The design is sleek and easy to clean, which I really appreciate. The control panel is simple to use, and the build quality still feels solid, just like the first day I got it. I’m really impressed with how durable it’s been. Definitely worth every penny — highly recommend it!

Stylish and Good Functions
The microwave is small (just like I needed) and fits well into my space. It works well and all of the functions are great. Looks nice and is very stylish.
