  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 55 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. • Child Lock: true (Setting that allows appliance to be temporarily locked to prevent use.)

Q: Does delivery and installation include hauling away old appliance?

A: No. There is a haul-away service for an additional $30.

Q: Is there any adjustment, up or down, to the dimensioned product height?

A: Hi there - this is a fantastic question! Yes, the height of our dishwashers are adjustable to accommodate slight differences in counter top heights. For this particular model, the minimum/maximum range is 33 3/8" - 34 5/8". We hope this information is insightful! All the best, Kelsey@GEA

Q: Do you have to replce the filter?

A: Hi- We appreciate your question and are happy to help! The dishwasher filter doesn't need to be replaced. We do recommend inspect and clean the Fine and Ultra Fine Filters periodically. This should be done every other month or more depending on usage. If there is a decrease in wash performance or dishes feel gritty, this is also an indication that the filters need to be cleaned. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

Q: Does this model have a food grinder?

A: Hi - Thank you for your interest in this lovely GE dishwasher. This model does offer our Piranha anti-jamming hard food disposer that grinds food particles before they go down the drain as well as a removable filter for easy cleaning when needed. We do hope you will choose GE for your home! Vikki@GEA

  • Rated 5 out of 5 stars

    Small but powerful

I am not a dishwasher expert, and I don’t use it often, BUT, it’s quiet, spacey and powerful for its size. It was easy to install on our own and a year + later it’s still working great. It was one of the few dishwashers that fit the specs of our 1999 cabinetry work in the kitchen. We are happy with how many dishes it fits inside; I only run it once a week for a family if 3. It is powerful enough to not let the dishes come out half- washed. Good product and reasonable price!

Low noise and cleaning is good

So far so good. Used it 4 times and cleaned dishes very good. The noise is much better than the 2012 model we had previously.
