Q: Why would I choose "BAKE" instead of "CONVECT"?
A: Hello- Thanks for contacting us. Thats a great question! Convection bake mode is intended for single rack baking when additional airflow is desired to enhance evenness. The traditional bake mode is intended for single rack cooking. This mode uses heat primarily from the lower element but also from the upper element to cook food. We hope this helps! if you need anything else in the future, please let us know. Sincerely-Dianna@GEA

A: Hello Jeannie. There are several sounds that are normal to hear in range and oven operation. It is normal to hear the temperature control click on and off during the baking, broiling, convection cooking, and self-cleaning cycles. The sound of a fan running during the self-clean cycle is normal. The sound of a fan running during and after the oven is on. The fan keeps the electronics cool. "Crackling," "popping," or "oil canning" sounds are caused by the heating and cooling of the metal during the cooking or cleaning processes and are considered normal. Thanks for checking. Olga

Haven't used it much but so far I am pleased. The electrical connector was larger than our old GE Profile oven, but it was a better fit. Overall, it is very stylish and I enjoy the convention and air fry settings. I don't cook as much but it's a nice upgrade from our 1990s GE Profile wall oven.

I love this oven. I use the air fry option a lot since I'm eating more healthy. I also love the convection oven for baking pies, cakes and cookies during the holidays. The 2 rack option is a plus! I highly recommend.
