Great Gaming Console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those wanting a gaming system that is affordable and mobile this is the one for you. Save yourself $300 by buying this system. Game quality is on par or better than PS5 or xBox X. Stadia can be played on your tv, computer, mobile phone, and/or tablet. The quality of the game on my iPhone, iPad, and 4K tv are spectacular and I have no issues with buffering. I can take the controller with me or sync my PS4 controller if traveling. If I want to play on a tv somewhere other than your house you can take the Chromecast Ultra dongle with me and the Stadia controller. All games are in the cloud so there are no system or game updates that you have to wait on. Just hop on and play.

Great cloud gaming
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a very good product, I was passionate about cloud gaming, but not everyone was ready for this, so Google decided to postpone this project and close it temporarily, in the same way they returned all the money spent within the application and the controller was turned into a Bluetooth remote, to be able to continue using it on a PC. thanks google it was nice while it lasted

Great compromise vs $500 gaming systems!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying my new Stadia! It was easy (though time consuming) to set up, and much more affordable than modern gaming consoles or computers. Since I only get a handful of hours to play it presented a good time vs cost proposition. The selection of games is much smaller than on consoles, but the games run without issues and at the highest graphics settings. Cyberpunk 2077, panned in reviews for numerous bugs and problems, ran like a dream from day one. I also really like that with an extra controller, I can continue to play the same game upstairs on my old PC without moving the hardware. I'm streaming 4k gaming on a 200MB fiber internet service and have yet to experience any substantial lag or latency, but I don't play FPSs.

I was skeptical at first
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading how Cyberpunk runs well on stadia, and well, they where giving you a $100 system if you pre ordered a $60 game, I decided to give it a try. I played about 30 hours of the game with my pc app hooked up to my 55 inch, 4k HDR display. The game looked very nice and ran with no issues. When this stadia arrived, undecided to give it a try, to see if there was any improvement over the pc app, boy was I surprised! The chromecast recognized my HDR and allowed me to tweak it, the game looks much better compared to PC app (my pc has a GTX1080ti, and most games look real good on it, just can't run cyberpunk), to colors on the chromecast are more vivid, seems like the graphics are better, I'm sold on Stadia untill Im able to upgrade my PC or buy an xbox series X. I got a subscription to Ubisoft Plus, been playing AC Valhalla and the game also looks stunning, my little brother has the PS5 version, and to me, there was no visual difference between the 2 systems. The chromecast does get super hot, but haven't noticed any lag or shutting down. My internet speed is 200/200, and it can handle the stadia plus 5 other household members streaming at the same time. Also, of you're only going to stream at 1080p you need less bandwidth. I would say, if you live in a place where internet is decent, definitely get a free trial from stadia pro and play one of the games they have for free to pro members, try it out on any pc either via chrome browser or stand alone app, and if that game runs well, buy a stadia pro to fully appreciate the game. I'm glad I gave it another chance, I had to opportunity to be a Beta tester back in November 2018, and there where a lot of issues. Now, if I want a new game and haven't bought my series X, I would definitely get it here.

Long Live Stadia!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Stadia service as a whole is AWESOME!!! I'm impressed by the general equal comparison to consoles (and in some instances was even BETTER graphically), and the lag was unnoticeable. The Chromecast does what its supposed to and I have ran into zero issues with it. As far as the controller itself, it's very comfortable, has a sturdy design, and feels like a premium product. The one issue I've had in the one month I've had it now is that twice it lost my internet connection and for me, it was no fun trying to get the darn thing reconnected. The Stadia app and the controller had linkage issues and the flashing white and orange lights on the controller just added to the confusion. Once I was successful at linking the controller to my wifi again, it was a chore then linking it back to the Chromecast. When it's linked it's perfect, but when it's not, oh boy. It became a headache I dread ever having to do again. All in all, I'm pleased with the product and very excited about what the future holds for Stadia as a platform and game streaming in general. Long live Stadia!!!

Cool concept, but needs work
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google Stadia is a cool concept, but the game selection is lacking. Before you buy this consider your internet connection. If you have poor internet, Google Stadia will look and play poorly. Dead by Daylight one of my favorite games is available on Stadia and supports cross-platform progress transfer if you played on Steam. If you know anything about playing Dead by Daylight and fixing gens you need to get good/great skill checks. On Stadia, I always had trouble with the skill checks because of the whole cloud aspect. You can live stream to YouTube with Stadia too. Another thing to note is if you use a VPN you may need to turn it off in order to get Stadia to work properly. These are my observations of Stadia and I hope they improve Stadia, but Google has been rather quiet about Stadia. If you want to try Stadia save your money and navigate to their website and use a spare Xbox or Playstation controller.

Q: Questionare there any free games?
Asked by Christian.
- A:Answer Yes, if you sign up and use the Stadia Pro trial. The Pro subscription receives several free games every month! Stadia is FREE to use, though. You do not have to continue the trial and any game you purchase can be played on Stadia anytime you want. If you claimed the free Pro games, you do have to be subscribed to play them. If you quit the Pro subscription, though, those games become inaccessible, BUT you can have access to all previously claimed Pro games as soon as a Pro subscription is re-enabled. And now Google Family Share allows ONE account with a Pro subscription to share all games (even the free Pro ones) with the other 5 accounts in the Family, and they can all pay nothing! Stadia rocks.

Q: QuestionDidn't Google discontinue Stadia?
Asked by Cjrs.
- A:Answer No, they just closed their creation studio. I am a daily Stadia gamer, and it is better than ever. They are bringing in more games every month from companies like 2K games, EA, etc which actually has given us more selection on great A rated games. Google Stadia isn't going anywhere, and I feel like it made more sense to them to do license deals with the major game companies to offer us more. You simply can't beat the Stadia Pro membership for less than 10 bucks a month. Hope this helps!
