A must have for any Halo fan
|Posted .If you like Halo you are crazy not to pick this up! It has all 4 Halo games in one game. The graphics and game play have been updated to fully utilize the Xbox One. The only issue I have is multiplayer has been buggy since launch. However, with that said, 343i is working day and night to get this issue resolved. Once 343i gets these issues ironed out, there is nothing more I can complain about.

Perfect FPS for your new Series X
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI’m having a blast playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I can jump into any of the previous versions of Halo and have fun. It’s a walk down memory lane of a great game that I’ve played since it came out with the first Xbox. Even after putting gaming aside for the last few years, I found I could pick this up and start slaying Covenant forces without feeling like I needed pro-gamer skills. The cut scenes are great, and the upgrade for Series S/X is spectacular. Really nicely done.

Perfect
|Posted .Owned for 4 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendOkay, this game didn't release in a polished state and a lot of people will remember it as a broken game at launch. However, 343 has put their blood into making this the definitive Halo collection that fans deserve. Not only does this collection contain a glorious library of incredible games, it also comes packed with improvements and features that are essential for anyone who wants to replay these classic titles.

Halo (Game)
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe game is really good at the moment I am playing the game on easy until I can learn the controls by heart. I have a projector I play on and the game is put into dimension from the projector to the wall which is really interactive. I have an ACER windows mixed reality headset that runs through a portal in windows. I am hoping to be able to get a gaming computer and link my games through the portal in windows with the headset and projector combo I should be able to link in the middle between the headset/projector which I think should be pretty Rad.

4 Masterworks of Video Gaming Bundled Together
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendAs the title suggests, this physical copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection only includes the 4 initial titles in the mainline Halo franchise. ODST and Reach can be purchased for $5 and $10, respectively from the digital Microsoft Store on your Xbox One or Xbox Series S/X. The storytelling in 1 and 2 are perfection in my eyes. 3, while not as good, more than makes up for it through grand set pieces and emotional payoffs. 4, while being the weakest in the saga thus far (until 5), also manages to pull off twists and turns you might not see coming. Oh, and it goes without saying that the multiplayer is good too. Highly recommended.

It's the entire Halo series prior to 5. Buy it!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThe first four Halo games, remastered in 1080p 60fps (or higher depending on which Xbox console you play this on), is truly one of gaming's greatest series. You get a free upgrade for Halo 3 ODST, and Halo Reach is also obtainable through this game. Each game's multiplayer modes, maps, and perks exist in this game, and allow you to cross with other modes. Hoping cross-platform play with PC releases soon, as I prefer playing on my gaming computer. Each game's campaign is well worth your time, if you don't like to play competitive, multiplayer FPS games.

All the great Halo games - now on Xbox One
|Posted .Pros mentioned:GraphicsHalo: The Master Chief collection delivers the best that Halo has to offer and boy oh boy does it look good in glorious HD! What's not changed: All the maps, the story, and every area of the games as you remember them are here. It's all been kept in tact perfectly. What's changed: *Graphical overhaul on all four games, more so on Halo 2 then any of the bunch and honestly that's the one that has always been the fan favorite and Microsoft did go all out to clean it up and it looks amazing. *The cut scenes have also had an overhaul in Halo 2 which have been nicely redone here by Blur Studio, they are also slightly longer then the original. *Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer uses the six remastered maps, while a standard Halo 2 multiplayer includes all of the game's released maps with a full graphical update but no remastering. * The Collection multiplayer includes Mission Setlists, curated lists of levels selected from throughout the series. Extra content: *Access to Halo Nightfall *Access to Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta (not available until Dec 29th) Overall if you love Halo you're buying this collection. It set the bar and it's not lost it's appeal after all these years. This is pure fan service at it's finest and it's worth all the hype, and all the wait, and makes buying an Xbox ONE a worthy purchase.

Catching Up
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI bought this in anticipation of the new Halo Infinite release that was suppose to happen this December 2020. Well Microsoft has decided to hold Halo Infinite up, in order to make it top notch. That will let Junior get really familiar with Halo’s 1 thru 4. And when infinite drops next year. He’ll understand the storylines much better.

Q: QuestionAre all the games on the disc or do you have tot download some? Also is there any other games I should get to have a complete Halo experience from start to finish? Thank You
Asked by Frank.
- A:Answer This is the Master Chief Collection, so the collection consists of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4, which were originally released on earlier Xbox platforms. Personally I hates ODST back when it came out, and nothing has changed. I stick with CE, 2, 3, and 4. So... Halo Wars isn’t included, but I’ve heard It’s absolutely terrible. So there’s no loss there. For the price of this... it’s well worth it.
