Best Buy™ Pay Supplemental Terms of Use

Welcome to Best Buy Pay. In addition to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions applicable to your use of the Best Buy mobile app and the terms governing your Best Buy Credit Card between you and Citibank, N.A. ("Citi"), the following additional terms of use ("Best Buy Pay Terms of Use") apply to your enrollment in and use of Best Buy Pay. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Best Buy Pay Terms of Use have the meanings given to them in the Best Buy Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. By enrolling your Best Buy Credit Card in and using Best Buy Pay, you agree to be bound by these Best Buy Pay Terms of Use. We (Best Buy and Citi) may make changes to these Best Buy Pay Terms of Use from time to time, and it is your responsibility to review the Best Buy Pay Terms of Use for updates or changes. If you do not agree with the Best Buy Pay Terms of Use, you should not enroll in, use, and/or continue to use Best Buy Pay.

Best Buy Pay

Best Buy Pay allows you to make purchases in-store using your Best Buy Credit Card via the Best Buy mobile app on your eligible smartphone, without the use of your physical Best Buy Credit Card.

You must sign in to your BestBuy.com account, be enrolled in the My Best Buy® program, and have a valid, non-expired Best Buy Credit Card in order to register your Best Buy Credit Card in and use Best Buy Pay.

Best Buy Pay works with any smartphone capable of downloading the Best Buy mobile app, but is not eligible for use with any smartphone modified contrary to the manufacturer's software or hardware guidelines (sometimes referred to as "jailbroken"). Any attempt to use a modified device in connection with Best Buy Pay is expressly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Best Buy Pay Terms of Use. Best Buy Pay cannot be used with any other credit or debit cards or anywhere other than in store at a Best Buy location.

Enrolling in Best Buy Pay

In order to enroll your Best Buy Credit Card in Best Buy Pay, click on "Best Buy Pay Enrollment" on the main screen of your Best Buy mobile app on your smartphone and follow the enrollment instructions.

During enrollment, you will be asked to sign in to BestBuy.com and confirm the details of your Best Buy Credit Card. You will create a security PIN/touch ID for use each time you use Best Buy Pay. You will also be asked to allow Best Buy Pay to collect your location information (by enabling location services through your mobile device's settings). See the Best Buy Privacy Policy regarding the Best Buy Pay use of this information. You may also be required to enter a verification code that will be sent to you during enrollment via a text message or a phone call to verify your identity.

Shopping with Best Buy Pay

Once enrolled in Best Buy Pay, you will be able to shop in store using Best Buy Pay at Best Buy locations in the U.S. (not available at Best Buy kiosks; may not be available for Magnolia or Geek Squad® services, for certain Pacific Sales purchases, or as otherwise set forth below at Best Buy discretion). Just open the Best Buy mobile app on your smartphone at checkout, select "Best Buy Pay," enter your security PIN/touch ID (set up during enrollment), and display the resulting unique QR code to be scanned in order to pay with your Best Buy Credit Card using your smartphone.

If you forget your security PIN, sign in to your BestBuy.com account and follow the instructions to reset your PIN.

A receipt for your purchase will be printed or emailed to you.

Security of Account/Loss of Mobile Device

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Best Buy Pay account. We will not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of your account or if you lose or share access to your smartphone and/or Best Buy Pay security PIN. Purchases made through Best Buy Pay are subject to the terms governing your Best Buy Credit Card.

If your smartphone is lost or stolen, your password or other appropriate security code is compromised, or your Best Buy Credit Card has been used with Best Buy Pay without your permission, you must immediately notify Citi at the number on the back of your Best Buy Credit Card.

If your Best Buy Credit Card is lost or stolen, even if your smartphone is not lost or stolen, you must notify Citi immediately at the number on the back of your Best Buy Credit Card or on your billing statement. If Citi decides to issue you a new Best Buy Credit Card, you will need to add your new Best Buy Credit Card to your BestBuy.com account and re-enroll in Best Buy Pay. You will also need to remove your old Best Buy Credit Card from your BestBuy.com account as it will no longer be valid.

Termination of Best Buy Pay/Restrictions on Use

In order to un-enroll from Best Buy Pay at any time, choose the option to turn off the Best Buy Pay capability with your Best Buy Credit Card in your BestBuy.com account profile. Best Buy may, at its sole discretion, restrict or terminate your use of Best Buy Pay at any time with or without notice. Without limiting the foregoing, Best Buy and Citi reserve the right to limit the availability of Best Buy Pay during specific times or for particular items. Best Buy or Citi may limit the quantity of items purchased with Best Buy Pay for any reason. Some products or services may not be eligible for purchase using Best Buy Pay, or may require additional verification prior to completion of purchase using Best Buy Pay.
