This 75" Hisense U7 is an all-around great TV for the price. Before I bought this one, I had a 55" Onn from Wally World and I didn't realize how crappy it was until I got the Hisense. The picture quality is super clean and clear, even on HD. And in 4K, it's ridiculously good. Also, a big selling point for me was the 144Hz refresh rate for gaming. On a 75" screen, you would think it would still lag somewhat, but it doesn't. Not even a little. When I hook up my gaming laptop to the TV, First Person Shooter games like Cyberpunk 2077 look amazing. I haven't tried any console gaming, but I'm sure it would look top-notch. All-in-all, if you're looking for a good priced, quality TV, with a ton of features that actually matter; check out Hisense. It won't break the bank (it's like half the price of a same-sized Samsung) I've had mine for 2+ years now, and I've had zero issues with it. Highly recommend Hisense!

I purchased this TV after a month of research and several reviews citing that is was a great sub $1,000 TV. I have been using this TV now for over 3 months and found the good and bad of this TV. Pros: Great picture, intuitive remote, lots of features, 144Hz for gaming on 2 inputs, did I mention the great picture. Cons: TV turns on and off randomly when we aren't watching (turned off), Google TV is slow and lags a lot, CEC connection to my Pioneer Elite receiver is not great. To put all of this in perspective, I really liked the TV mostly. The blacks and colors are amazing once calibrated. It has lots of features you'd normally only find in brands costing much more. The deal breaker is two-fold: 1-The TV turns on when its been turned off for the day. It lights up for 5-10 seconds with a blank screen, then turns off. I have tried resetting the TV back to factory with no luck. Uninstalled any extra apps that didn't come with the TV-no good. It even turns on the USB port where I have a TV backlight strip plugged in. I plugged that into a power block, no change. It is extremely frustrating. 2-The operating system of this TV is beyond slow. Push a button on the remote and wait. It eventually catches up and work good for a while, then back to lagging. When connected to my A/V receiver via HDMI/CEC, you push the volume up or down button and it may go up one step, or ten. There is no telling. I really want to love this TV, but for now I can only like the features and picture until this gets figured out.

Was holding out for new UN series until i saw the price difference and opted to go with last years model for only $900. Im glad i did. This 75in replaced a 65in Sony X90Ck in my living room. The Sony has excellent motion but about the only thing thats better than the Hisense U7K. The Hisense has better reflection handling, is much brighter, better black levels, better blooming control and the speakers are very loud and have a nice punch of bass as well. I don't like the look of sound bars so this TV basically does it all for me. I sat my Hisense U8H 55 inch in font of the new U7K and for everyday youtube tv and netflix the tvs look identical. The only difference where the U8 beats the U7 is on hdr10 but its not so much to justify the price difference. Also the 75 inch comes with an IPS panel so the off center viewing looks just as good as viewing in front of the tv. The U8 and Sony viewing angles are both worse than my new tv. If you can still pick this tv up its a steal at $900. The 65in Sony this replaced was $1300 when i bought it in 2022.
