A: This is not a touch screen.
Q: Does this laptop come with paperwork describing the warranty?
A: Yes, the package containing the computer came with two sheets of paper. One sheet was the "Warranty Information". It stated that there was an 18 month Warranty for Recertified Computers. It went on to state that the 'warranty' covers "damage from normal everyday use, such as mechanical failure, hard drive failure, loose charging ports, or RAM failure." The company that refurbished the computer, including warranty info, is named 'Plan-IT-ROI'. They provided Customer Service contact via an email address and telephone number. The Warranty sheet also stated, "Battery issues are covered for 12 months from order date". The other sheet of paper included in the package, provided "Instructions for Activating Windows". You may activate either 'Windows 7' or 'Windows 10'. That's it!
A: The laptop was refurbished by company named "PlanITROI", not Best Buy Geek Squad! It comes with an 18 month Warranty which covers "damage from everyday use, such as mechanical failure, hard drive failure, loose charging ports, or RAM failure." as stated on packing sheet from PlanITROI. Also, states that "battery issues are covered for 12 months from order date."
A: Keyboard is NOT detachable. Instead, it swivels around and is hidden when flipped closed to show screen display only.
A: CORRECTION to my last response. I did not receive any documentation with this device . . . had to go online to HP website and download 'Maintenance and Service Guide'. This guid4 provides basic description of functions/features that may be included in the HP Elite Tablet PC. There are many functions/features over and above the 'normal' ones found in a regular laptop. Anyhow, after reviewing the functions/features more carefully, using the HP documentation, I need to correct my answers given previously. YES, my Tablet PC comes with Touch Screen, and Stylus Pen. You may use either your fingers or the stylus pen to peruse the screen. Sorry for previous comment . . . it's new, and I did not properly check it out. Also, the Specs shown online by Best Buy is not completely accurate. For instance, it states the device does NOT have touch screen. It also states that the device comes with DVD Drive; this is NOT true! There is NO DVD Drive.
