||Posted .I purchased one before this one and it was saying I was out of ink or really it said low but when I took it out and put the new one in there was very little weight difference and since I didn’t do a lot of printing I’m not happy about having to buy another so soon. That’s why I got the xl

Pretty upset with Best Buy’s handling
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I received this (purchased new) and the product was already open and the sticker that covers the ink dispenser was removed. Looked like the box was glued back together by whoever returned it. Doesn’t look like it’s missing a significant amount of ink, but really disappointed Best Buy would send something out like this - especially if I’m buying new.

It is terrible that the cartridge didn’t seem to be new. I can understand if you are not happy about that.
You have the option to return it or exchange it either to the store or by mail. According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

- A:Answer Not all 65XL ink cartridges are compatible with the Envy 5000 series. I bought a 65XL ink cartridge elsewhere, figuring it was a great buy and fit. Unfortunately, I did not notice that the Envy 5000 series was NOT among the compatible printers printed on the outside of the packaging. My HP Envy 5000 series printer rejected the cartridge saying that the cartridge was for older machines! DON'T BUY ANY CARTRIDGES UNLESS YOU SEE YOUR PRINTER MODEL LISTED ON THE CARTRIDGE PACKAGING!

Q: QuestionBeing a senior, I do not print much and I was wonder how long it took for the ink to go dry in the cartridge? Depending on the answer, it may be best to go with the standard size versus the XL cartridge.

- A:Answer The standard 65 black will yield up to 120 and the color 100. The 65XL black and color will each yield up to 300 pages.
