Q: Can anyone tell me if the radio tuner is digital?
A: The iBT231 has an FM tuner with six presets and PLL digital tuning
Q: does it change between daylight savings time automaticaly
A: Yes just move the switch to auto DS.
Q: Does it have a sleep timer?
A: Yes. Sleep Mode is detailed on page 9 of the user manual. This unit allows you to sleep to the current sound source for a set time before turning the unit off. 1. To set Sleep time, press and release the Sleep/Clock Adjust Button as needed to cycle to the desired sleep duration: 120, 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes or OFF (turns the unit off). 2. Press the or Buttons to adjust the sleep volume on the unit. Note that the sleep volume setting is stored separately from other volume settings.
Q: Is the back light adjustable? Also how is the sound quality?
A: I haven’t tried to adjust the backlight yet. However, the sound quality is pretty great. I have a larger speaker from Samsung, and it sounds basically the same. I’m very pleased with that.
A: There was a 30-pin to lightning adapter manufactured by Apple, but it is now discontinued. You will need to upgrade to dock your 8-pin iOS device. May I suggest choosing a Bluetooth unit over a dock, because the charging ports are constantly changing.
Q: Can the display be dimmed so there is no light emitting at night?
A: It can be dimmed To almost completely dark.
Q: How large is the digital display?

Q: Do the bluetooth and charging functions work with Android Phones? TIA!
A: The iBT231 will connect to all Bluetooth enabled phones. It has two 1 amp charging USB ports. Most Android phones require 2.1 amp charging.
