Display has problems on multiple units

My dumb self actually bought two of these puppies because initially I thought it was a good product. In the beginning it was great. There was a time display where you can adjust brightness and obviously the charging pad for the iPhone. However, as the months went but one of them had the display stuck on full brightness. I don't know about you, but I use them next to my bed's nightstand and on full brightness you do not want to be facing this sun. On the flip side, the 2nd one I bought, the display went completely dark. It was off basically. If you unplug the power cable and plug it back in, it doesn't reset or anything. Reason being is because there is a coin battery inside I guess so it won't lose the time in an event of a blackout but anytime the display messes up, you have to unscrew to unseat and reset the battery. For the price I paid this is not worth it. If one of the unit has problems, then maybe I'm an idiot. But if both units start acting up, then it's a iHome problem.

- A:Answer Even though loudness depends on the receptor, I wouldn't say it has a very loud alarm, it is average. However, the high pitch sound that produces its very annoying in the mornings and it works for me. If its close to you (ex. nightstand) it should work.

- A:Answer Your phone has to be "Qi" compatable. If it's not get a "Qi wireless charger receiver charging adapter" from Amazon. I don't know if BestBuy sells them. They run from $9 to $15, just make sure it will fit your phone.
