- A: AnswerIt sounds like there might be an issue with the HDMI ARC connection between your TV and soundbar. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this: 1. Check HDMI-CEC Settings: Ensure that HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is enabled on both your TV and soundbar. This feature allows devices to control each other over HDMI. Sometimes, disabling and re-enabling this setting can help. 2. Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your TV and soundbar. Updating to the latest firmware can resolve compatibility issues. 3. Use a Different HDMI Cable: Sometimes, the HDMI cable might be the issue. Try using a different high-speed HDMI cable to see if that resolves the problem. 4. Power Cycle Both Devices: Unplug both your TV and soundbar from the power outlet for a few minutes, then plug them back in. This can reset the connection and resolve any temporary glitches. 5. Check Audio Settings: Ensure that the audio output settings on your TV are set to use the soundbar as the primary audio device. You might need to select HDMI ARC as the audio output source. 6. Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on your soundbar. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this. If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth contacting Insignia customer support for further assistance.

- A: AnswerWhen you connect your Insignia F50 TV to the Insignia 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer using an optical cable, you typically won't be able to control the soundbar's volume with the TV remote. Optical connections don't support volume control through the TV remote, as they transmit a fixed audio signal. To control the soundbar's volume, you would need to use the soundbar's remote. Alternatively, if your TV and soundbar both support HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), you could use an HDMI cable to connect them. This setup would allow you to control the soundbar's volume with your TV remote. Patricia | Insignia Support
