Q: The pictures have different options for the doors. It looks like 2 have glass and 2 are "solid" but they can be put on in different arrangements. Another picture looks like all glass doors. What doors are in the box and do they have a specific location?

A: The set comes with 4 wood panels and 4 glass panels that can be arranged to your liking in any order. They fit to the door much like photos in a frame.

Q: Is this cabinet factory built ready to use or is it one of those awful kit deals that requires a complete assembly. My wife has bought many of those and I hate the assembly work. The last time I swore never again and I meant it.

A: TV is delivered by UPS in a box which is quite heavy. Needs assembly. Everything is inside screws, directions etc. I recommend opening box in garage or outside b/c styrofoam gets everywhere. It took longer to open box, sorts through all the pieces, just to get prep for assembly. Be careful not to through any screws away n screws needs to be used exactly as instructions say. It’s a beautiful TV, we didn’t think we would like it b/c it was purchased thru a picture but we love it. Just need time n patience to put it together. .

Q: What is the length and depth of the shelves where components (stereo, xbox, etc.) would go? Thanks.

A: There are two shelves on each side. Dimensions are 28” x 12 3/4”. We got all of our components on these with a shelf to spare.

Q: Is this made from real wood or mdf?

A: Neither. MDF is a dense compressed fiberboard, heavier than most woods. This is made from a much cheaper & lighter compressed wood product. It has a vinyl veneer applied to all visible surfaces. Typical of low cost furniture in this price range. If you bang into it with something heavy it will crush the underlying board and possibly tear the veneer.

Q: How many of the cabinets have holes/slots at the back for wires to pass through ?

A: Once together, there are 2 sides. Each side has an adjustable shelve. There are a total of 4 cutouts, 2 on each side, at the top and bottom. About 8" long and 1.5 inches high. Plenty of room for cables and cords.

Q: Can this be assembled with just two of the doors on the side and leaving open shelves in the center?

A: The bottom is separate left & right sides with a divider in the middle. The doors are paired to cover the sections. You probably wouldn’t want to leave half a set of doors off. The center divider prevents you from putting anything centered.

Q: Do you have to build it or does it come assembled already

A: Had to assemble. Took 3 hours. Very complicated.
