Near perfect fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would just like to start by saying that I have had every version of the jawbone up to date, and the Up2 is by far the best version they have put out this far. Pros: Size and style- this thing is much lighter and less bulky than the previous Up24, which was constantly getting caught on things because of the open concept clasp. This new Up2 not only looks and feels better, but it no longer gets in the way for typing and does not snag on clothing as it did in the previous version. A lot of people have been saying that this new clasp is finicky and confusing, but that just isn't true. If they had bothered watching the quick 60 second video on the app they would know how secure it. Also I have heard that it may come loose, however I have found that this is also not accurate, this thing does not come loose and is an easy process when you understand what ou are doing. It is also now made of aluminum and rubber, so it is a change from previous versions for the better. Battery life- battery life in the Up2 is as good as it has ever been, getting anywhere from 7-9 days on a single charge. Charging this band takes less than 2 hours from dead, and is done now through the new magnetic charging Connection, which means no more annoying cap and headphone jack for charging. Workout recovery- This is a great feature that is not even listed on the box, but is one of the best things about this little band. If you should go for a run and forget to set the stopwatch mode (now done in the app), the band will sense the sustained activity level and when you log in to the app it will ask if you were doing some activity recently, and if you say yes it will ask you what you were up to and give you a list of options to choose from based on recent activities. It will also learn from which activities you do more frequently and use those when presenting your options. Water resistant- this is both a pro and a con as Jawbone originally promised a fully waterproof device rated 10atm, needless to say this is not what we got. What we did get however is a device I can where in the shower and at the gym so I only ever have to take it off to charge( which is not frequently). Cons: Touch interface- in order to put this thing into sleep mode you need to tap twice to wake the band and then long press to change the mode from active to sleep. This sounded like a bizarre approach and does not always work as advertised, however this is the only time you need to use the interface and thanks to the sleep recovery feature if you forgot to change modes before going to sleep the band will ask you when you wake up and log in if you have been asleep between the hours it guesses and you can edit it if it is incorrect. No screen- I don't need a full smart watch functionality, but is it too much to ask for a tiny screen for the time? It's a small chance and would make this device even more useful and convenient than it already is, but I understand they chose to go without a screen to get the phenomenal battery life. Final thoughts: For $99 the Up2 is the best tracker at that price point by far, between the workout recovery and tiny size this is the best fitness tracker I have used so far. I would even recommend the Up2 over the more pricey Up3 since the only difference right now is that the Up3 tracks your heart rate 1 time per day in the morning, and has slightly better sleep tracking which is certainly not worth twice the price. I was originally looking into the Apple Watch, but for 1/4 of the price this little band has tracking that is just as good. The main difference obviously is that the Apple Watch runs apps and tells the time, but for 10x longer battery life and 1/4 the price I can live with the compromise.

Great band when used with app!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the band, have worn in the shower everyday with no issues. The only CON is that band unhooks very easily. Takes a while to adjust the band to that perfect fit, but it eventually works great. Highly recommended over the fit bit solely because of the app. The app has a "coach" that will track trends and challenges based on previous results. Also has a great sleep tracking, so I wear it to sleep and find myself trying to get to bed at a decent time. I attached pics to show that is as small as a ladies watch WHICH is smaller than the Fitbit and whole watch chargers no dismantling.

Not as good as I had hoped, falls off writst
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research prior to buying a fitness band and finally decided on the U24 (which later became the Up2). I was happy with the Up24, but after using the it for about 6-8 weeks, it stopped working...my replacement came in the form of an Up2. I had high hopes for it. It is sleeker and smaller than the last Up24. It has a buckle and all the other functions that I loved about the Up24. It works like the last band did, and I was happy with it until it started to fall off my wrist with way too much ease. I thought perhaps I was doing something wrong, but no matter how tight or lose I placed it on my wrist, it would always fall off. This continued until after another 6--8 passed and it too stopped working (both band just stopped charging). I wasn't abusing it...I was using it as directed, but neither lasted. The buckle issue was frustrating enough, but that aside, there is the fact that it stopped working so fast...I may have gotten a lemon (twice) but I have lost trust in this brand and I'm in the market for a new bad at the moment...most likely a Fitbit Charge HR (look for my review in a few weeks). One thing you should note...Since I bought my band, a newer rope version has been released. I don't know how that one works...if its better at staying on, but that doesn't explain the fact that in less than 3 months 3 bands total (2 of mine and my wives) stopped working. When it was working I loved it...I found myself working to meet the challenges (I hated the buckle), but now I question the Quality of the product altogether. I wouldn't recommend it.

Good sleep tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good sleep tracker the pace, seems to be accurate only thing I don't care for is the class it seems to come undone quite frequently. Overall I like it!

Very good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Jawbone UP Bands. I've had a UP and UP24 before and loved them both. Never took it off. Incredible accuracy. The UP 2 is very comfortable to wear. Though sometimes the band loosens up and becomes a little big, it's really not as bad as I'm making it seem. I've also noticed that I can't calibrate this band. Which makes me feel it's not 100% like my UP24 was. Another feature I'm a little disappointed about is setting a specific stopwatch activity, you can't set it from your band must use app only. Over all I really like this band and recomend it to anyone.

Band Broke
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the UP2 because it is small and discreet and has an adjustable band. My wrists are very small and all other fitness tracker bands had been too large. Unfortunately, after only 2 months, my band broke. It doesn't look like it can be repaired which is disappointing. I've contacted Jawbone about a possible warranty, but it is still too early for a response.

Not a great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This activity tracker has many flaws. It needs to be paired via Bluetooth to my iPhone several times a week. It also has a poor clasp design that comes undone causing the tracker to fall off my wrist. It has burned out when in contact with sweat, the shower or washing dishes, the UP24 was a better product.
