||Posted .Finally! My husband got his Artisan Series 5 he is beyond exited. He loves to cook for his family and friends. We are blessed to have our own chef at home!! Got the ice cream attachment and he is thrilled to use!! Thank you! He made us our own homemade loaf of bread, and let me tell ya!! It was delicious:)

||Posted .MY WIFE WANTED ONE, BECAUSE HER SISTERS HAVE ONE. SO I GOT HER ONE PLUS A SHREDDER TOO. I HAVE USED IT. GREAT FOR HASH BROWN POTATOES AND DOING CHEESE. WE LOVE IT. I ALSO PURCHASED ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER. SHE AND MY OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER LOVE IT. I PLAN TO GET MORE ATTACHMENTS. I WISH WE HAD ONE YEARS AGO.

||Posted .This is a gift so has not been used yet. However, my wife and I have been married 55 years and have never been without a KitchenAid Mixer. We've worn a couple out because I have made all our bread for the past 25 years. We had a couple of problems within the warranty period and KitchenAid has always responded positively. We expect our grandson's new wife will enjoy hers, just as both our daughters have liked the ones we purchase for them when they got married,

I love this mixer!
||Posted .I watched for sales and read reviews before making a decision to buy this mixer. I didn't need anything huge but wanted a mixer with a big enough motor to handle bread dough and divinity. This mixer does both with ease. I find it enjoyable to bake again. The hand mixer I had been using just couldn't handle stiffer mixtures and my arms were not always strong enough to mix by hand. It's a joy to be able to bake what I want not on what my arms would tolerate.

Outstanding performance
||Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed.My wife and daughter love it. My daughter is taking a culinary class and the mixer really stands up to the high usage.it’s also able to beat tough things like dough which other mixers cannot handle. I got her a pasta attachment for Christmas this year. I hope it works as well as the mixer.

Great mixer
||Posted .It’s very pretty on my counter top and it works very nicely. I don’t bake a lot but I plan too with this machine! I recently went gluten free and this mixer is going to help me make breads and noodles that I can be sure of what is in it and make it at a cheaper price.

- A:Answer Hi Moose, KitchenAid made the decision in 2016 to no longer place the spring on the beater shaft on all Classic and Artisan Tilt Head Mixers. By removing the spring and washer on the shaft, it is a benefit as it leaves the beater shaft much easier to clean without the spring. It is also not necessary for the operation of the unit as the tools stay locked without them.
