L.A. Noire - PlayStation 4

This is one of my favorite games from the PS3 and it looks even better on the PS4 Pro! The remastered edition looks great the graphics are crisp and the colors are vibrant. There are more detailed textures in many of the graphics, which makes for an even better playing experience. Some of the best voice work I have heard in a game and a great storyline! Highly recommend this game!

I fell in love with Noire years and years with cult classics Devil in Blue Dress and LA Confidential. When I originally saw the tech demo for this back in the the 2010s I was mesmerized by how cutting edge it was back then and preordered it as soon as I could. I had a few reservations about gameplay but overall love this game for its visuals and story. So obviously when a updated port came out I had to make should I picked up a copy the day it dropped and i'm glad I did. Gameplay feels fresh, DLC is included, and known bugs / gameplay shortcomings were addressed. I'm in love again.

Rockstar made all Grand Theft Auto games and Red Dead. They know how to tell a good story. This is a crime detective game....lots of intrigue figuring out crimes!

I don’t think this game got as much respect as it should have when it first got released. I know I may not have been ready for it at the time although I had gone back and played it anywarnornso afyer release and I very much enjoyed it! I think now it should get a bit more play from more current gamers to an extent. It’s a great detective game, nice to be able to use your mind to engage in puzzles and mystery trying to piece together and solve what’s going on. I would be very interested in seeing this facial capture technology in current games win thenup to date technology, I bet it would be amazing! Good fun game for those not looking for fast paced constant action but a nice steady paced mystery game.

Amazing graphics and story. Includes all the DLC. Worth buying for newcomers or others who want to relive it in glorious new remaster.

Great remaster that stays true to the original. Only thing you might have an issue with is the new choice options.

Rarely does Rockstar stray away from producing a blockbuster game. LA Noire is such a departuree from the run and gun outlaws and criminally induced bank robbing caricatures of modern men. LA Noire is like a Soap Opera based in the 50s that you control. It allow us you to develop a story from your cast of characters that is somewhat linear, but interesting. It works for the time. LA Noir is a last gen title, and fon't expect the level of detail in story or gameplay as GTAV or Red Dead 2. If you are a fan of Noire Detective stories, this can feel a little campy. And the open world is a little scattered compared to more modern games. If you didn't play the original, give this one a little time to sink in. It is a fun time.

It’s the classic Rockstar set-up, an open-world setting encased in an evocative era – or so it first seemed. Gamers originally expected the developer to follow a format similar to GTA, but what sets LA. Noire apart from other games is what it isn’t. It isn’t a game with indistinguishable mission structures, a tongue-in-cheek adoration of sex and violence, and a free-roaming structure that limits while it expands. It isn’t GTA, basically, and that is a good thing.
