Luxury laptop at a great price.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop on sale for $900. I use it for streaming movies, YouTube, productivity (word, excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.). I also use it for video calls and some light gaming (Rise of Nations on steam to be exact). I absolutely love this laptop. It has everything I need a laptop to do plus a little extra. It has a beautiful display (not 4k, but i am sure that makes the battery life as amazing as it is.) The full HD webcam is much appreciated. It is a super snappy device and multi-tasks really well. The folding feature is less practical in a computer this size but it is still super cool, and it’s nice to use the tent mode for streaming movies. I have always had 13 inch MacBooks so this much larger device took some getting used to but I love having a large, beautiful, high quality screen to watch movies. It’s also not as heavy as I imagined, although it is a little unwieldy. The design of this laptop is also stunning. It’s all metal, and no fingerprints which is awesome. If I were to gripe about anything I would say that the sound was a little different than I expected (a little tinny maybe) but it is still very good and the Dolby atmos thing made it super loud and it almost feels like you are in a movie theater with surround sound. Another tiny criticism would be that I wish the screen was slightly brighter, using it outside or in a room with a lot of sunlight would be a little annoying with the screen’s glossy finish, but it is still an incredibly bright screen. This is my first PC laptop as I have always used MacBooks so I might be just a little spoiled when it comes to brightness because there are not a lot of laptops period with more than 400 nits of brightness and certainly not at this price point. Again the battery life is very good, you can toggle the performance up or down as well to help improve that. It also has a feature that estimates how much battery you have left based on your usage. The keyboard is excellent and is backlit. It has a nice, large trackpad. You can’t click everywhere on the trackpad like you can on MacBooks but it is still really good and responsive. It also has a super useful number keypad which I never knew that I needed. The touchscreen is super responsive and equivalent to every iPad that I’ve ever used. It also has lots of lots of ports. Overall, it is a fast laptop with a great display and keyboard with a quality design and a battery that lasts as long as anybody would need.

Well made laptop rugged and excellent performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has a sharp easy to read screen. The construction seems to be quality materials and rugged. I like the standard style USB charger so it is easy to buy a spare. Performance is as expected with the SSD and processor giving it excellent speed. Battery life is excellent. I charge it every 2 or 3 days depending on amount of use. The backlighted keyboard is nice when in a dark room. This replaced my HP laptop that was literally falling apart after 2 years use.

Excellent laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Lenova yoga computer/laptop. I purchased it for my Karaoke DJ/KJ business. The graphics are insane. It runs all my Karoake programs flawlessly without digital fragmentation. It is touch screen which I was hesitant about because of a previous (different brand) and the touchpad/touch screen went bad so the screen would take over the cursor and was all over the place. The Lenovo has performed extremely well. I love it!

Great computer… ehh battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first new laptop since 2014. I bought this in August 2022 for college. Love how sleek the design is, and love the fingerprint recognition features. Laptop is fast, lighweight, efficient; and exactly what I needed for school. The only flaw i would point out is that the battery life on this laptop when in use is much less than what is advertised. I am not running heavy programs at all, the internet browser, youtube, and Word at THE most, and I need a full charge after only 4-5 hours. So if you’re looking for long battery life on a single charge, this laptop falls short.

Posted .Hello, Brifanta, thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding battery life, this model Yoga 7i 16 ships with an integrated 71Wh battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 11 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also, here is a link to a webpage that details various options for disabling background applications and processes that may be using battery: https://allthings.how/how-to-turn-off-background-apps-in-windows-11/ Upon making these changes, if the issue persists, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Tech Support at this phone number for continued assistance: 877-453-6686. Ultimately, we appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad to hear that the design, performance, and functionality of your Yoga 7i meets your needs.

Great machine with little performance issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the reasons I did not give 5 stars: The machine is mostly efficient and easy to set it up. However, it has some default controls (like dimming brightness after a few seconds of not in use) which I know they can be changed but that's one more thing to do. Processor is efficient up to expectation, but wireless connectivity sometimes is slow. A little disappointed of download speed when wireless.

Posted .Hello, Octavio, thank you for choosing Lenovo! In advance, this is a lengthy response, however we want to give you and other readers of this response as much information as possible to help ensure your issue is resolved. Regarding the display dimming, this could be one of two things, possibly even both. First, search for the Windows Settings ("Settings") application by pressing the Windows logo on the keyboard and typing "Settings". Upon opening Settings, look for the System tab on the left-hand side of the window, at the top of the list in the menu. Look for the Power & Battery sub-tab. Select this tab. Then, look for the Screen and Sleep section, then select it. Here you can adjust when your screen turns off among other power settings. Second, check to see if auto brightness setting is turned on and that some change in the ambient lighting in the room or something in front of the light sensor is diming your screen. Here is a link to more information about auto brightness control within Windows 11 and how to turn it off:  https://www.groovypost.com/howto/turn-off-or-manage-auto-brightness-on-windows-11/ If auto brightness is already turned off on your computer, now check your Power Management settings for what you have set the computer to do under battery power. Check your Power Management settings to see if the computer is currently setup to dim the screen when on battery power if the power level dims below a certain power level. Here is a link to information about power management settings, check through these settings until you find something that may help the screen diming:  https://www.groovypost.com/howto/turn-off-or-manage-auto-brightness-on-windows-11/ . This model Yoga 7i features Intel Wi-Fi 6E technology to help deliver quick internet speeds. If you are experiencing lower connection speeds than you are guaranteed by your internet service provider, we recommend that you check your network hardware for any issues including awaiting software updates and overcrowding of devices, and that your router is equipped with handling support of your home network. If your issues persist, we recommend that you consult with your internet service provider if you are using their network equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly, or if using your own equipment, here is a link to a site that details troubleshooting steps for your equipment: https://www.howtogeek.com/180235/how-to-troubleshoot-wireless-router-problems/. If your issues persist we recommend reaching out for Lenovo Tech Support at this phone number for continued assistance: 877-453-6686.

Q: QuestionWhat are some of the cons/weaknesses of this laptop?
Asked by Customer.
- A:Answer The display has pretty bad IPS glow. The contrast isn't very good so when watching movies or videos with dark scenes the black colors look purple/pink. The speakers suck for watching videos/tv shows/movies because it makes peoples voices sound weird, hollow, and unnatural. The touchpad doesn't always register clicks and sometimes stops tracking your fingers. And lastly it has the flaw every windows 11 laptop has, not all software supports Windows 11 so you may not get good compatibility with your favorite programs if you're upgrading from an older operating system.

Q: QuestionDoes this really work with two monitors and screen? I'm in the process of returning another brand's laptop because it doesn't support two hdmi external monitors. The hdmi port works but the USB-C isn't recognizing a monitor.
Asked by David.
- A:Answer This Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US, supports up to 4 independent displays (native display and 3 external monitors via HDMI and Thunderbolt). HDMI supports up to 4096x2160@60Hz, Thunderbolt supports up to 4096x2304@60Hz.

Q: QuestionThe Lenovo Yoga 7i 15" 82BJ0003US last year's model, has a VESA Dolby HDR 400 display. It also has Dolby Vision. This new version doesn't, only Dolby Vision. It does not have HDR certification and USE HDR is not supported. Why not? Thanks.
Asked by Duke.
- A:Answer This Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US, ships with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 16 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - 2.5K WQXGA (2560x1600) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 400 nits, has a Glossy finish. This screen provide 100 Percent of the sRGB color gamut for excellent color accuracy. This screen is Low Blue Light and Dolby Vision Certified. Lenovo has chosen to use Dolby Vision exclusively for the highest quality video playback at 2560 x 1600 resolution. When compared to Dynamic HDR, this means that if you are watching an HDR movie on an HDR display, HDR10 will set the same metadata for the entire film. In contrast, Dolby Vision can change information such as color and brightness dynamically, thus making the viewing experience more immersive.

Q: QuestionHow many M.2 SSD slots does it have? Are the WiFi and RAM upgradeable?
Asked by RamWise.
- A:Answer 1 m.2 slot which can take a 2242 using the adapter on the existing drive or a 2280 drive. It is not limited to 1TB (I currently am running it with a 2TB 2280 m.2). The wifi adapter is removable, the RAM is soldered and not upgradeable.
