Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your new Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US. The Windows 11 Operating System should recover itself after it corrects the issue and restarts your computer. If you are not taken back to the Windows 11 Desktop Screen after the automatic restart, resetting the computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue. Power off the computer. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom left side of the device, right near the top left corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care for additional help at: 888-278-9707.

Very nice Laptop with great screen and fast!
||Posted .These are my initial impressions of this pc. This is a big and solid laptop. Build quality is excellent but just shy of what I would say is premium. The power button looks a bit crooked and the keyboard just has a bit of a cheap feeling although it has nice keys and seems accurate. For the price it certainly punches above most others in this class in terms of build quality. I had purchased another laptop before this and although it was thinner and lighter and bit more aesthetically pleasing did not feel nearly as sturdy. This device feels like it will last a long time. It also doesn't show fingerprints the minute you use it. The performance of this device is really impressive. You can adjust the settings to make it battery friendly or a beast. In performance or beast mode it scores close to 1700 single core and 9900 multi core on geekbench 5. That is some serious performance. I could notice it was about 15-30% faster than the other laptop I had with the same specs. So if you want something that is not a gaming notebook but still has a serious punch this is it. Again for the price even at full price you are getting a good deal. The screen is 16/10 format and I really like it. I was using a device with a Full HD OLED screen 15.6" and the colors on OLED really are amazing. This is an IPS with 2.5k resolution which I feel is perfect as it is not 4k which can bog down resources but is higher than Full HD so you never see pixels. Perfect resolution. Screen brightness is not bad. I prefer 500 nits but that is not in many devices. This is 400 nits which is very good. You will not have an issue with brightness. Colors look good and saturated and angles don't get distorted. Keyboard and mouse pad. Feels like a glass trackpad which I prefer. It is a bit clicky and loud but accurate. The keyboard has a good amount of travel on the keys and is very accurate for me. There is no flex at all on the keyboard. This is a great keyboard and trackpad. I also like the num pad. The speakers are surprisingly good. There are a couple of top firing speakers and a couple on the bottom. Sound quality is loud and rich for a laptop. For the money on sale I don't think you can find a better laptop. The Intel 1260p is very fast. The DDR5 ram and PCI 4 ssd are also excellent. This has a fingerprint reader and windows hello camera which you have the ability to cover the camera mechanically. The all aluminum build is very sturdy. It is a little heavy being a 16" device and the aluminum build but I would rather it be a little heavier and sturdier than so lightweight you could easily break something by picking it up. These are mobile devices so a quality build is important. I have not had this long enough to determine battery life but it has a large battery and a 400 nit screen so it should last a long time depending on the workload. If you are streaming or just browsing the net it should last a long time. Should get through a solid 8 hours of mixed workloads. I am pretty impressed with this device for the cost. I usually wait a couple days to write a review but this was so good I had to give my initial impressions. I will add battery life later if I can edit the review later. All in all if you are thinking of this laptop you should probably just get it. It excels in every category and is a steal for the price.

It does what its made for
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. As a disclaimer this is first impressions only. Bought for my less tech savy brotger for his college work wanted a computer that should last till hes out of college. Now with the impressions. I bought this when it was on sale at 899$ so i valued it based on that. When i first turned it on i noticed how nice the screen actually is, only downside is wuailty control i believe, the bottom on the monitor about 30% from the keyboard up was about 2-4% brighter than the rest of the display doing a monitor test by ezio. My bother didnt seem to care so he kept it. The speakers sound bad due to the defualt of it being on dobly atmos sound which i didnt like so i just shut that off, once off it was a little better, imagine a typical speaker but no bass whatsoever and with vocals it seemed like the people in the audio was talking behind a wall,so a little muffled, again brother didnt seem to mind. Besides that i love that it has windows faceID and Touch ID, the keyboard in my opinon is oriented werid due to the keypad but i love how they feel springy and not muddly. Other than that my only gripe would be the charing cable is reletivly short so be wary unless you can buy your own usb c cable. For having the proccesor, memory, and Hard drive space that it has i cant say its not a good deal.

Excellent Yoga laptop with new i7 evo processor
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Great laptop, Excellent battery life paired up with the latest i7 processor. The laptop is on the heavier side which can be expected from a 16 inch 2 in 1. The hinges are pretty firm no wobbling around. Also the latop is Intel Evo certified which isn't mentioned anywhere in the specs. Snagged up an Excellent open box for $880, really great price from Best Buy for a relatively new laptop. I'd recommend steering clear of Lenovo yoga 9i as it also has deep discounts but has inherent weak WiFi issues

Insane Value for the Specs
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Agree with what most others are saying with this model - this is an amazing deal for what you get, especially on sale. The 12th Intel i7 processor that's in here is largely what you'll find in other, more expensive models, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The screen is also on the higher end with a 2K 16" 16:10 screen. Tons of ports as well. It's not small by any means but you also know what you're getting with a 16" laptop. Feels very solid and well built as well. In terms of productivity, you will not find a better deal/value than this machine.

Happy with it
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I've had it about a month, and it's great! I love the versatility of laptop and tablet. It's pretty fast and works great for my use, which is not super intensive, for the record. General browsing, watching videos, etc. I haven't used it unplugged for long periods of time except once, and then it lasted all evening, playing music, and in the morning it was at 80%. !

Q: QuestionThe Lenovo Yoga 7i 15" 82BJ0003US last year's model, has a VESA Dolby HDR 400 display. It also has Dolby Vision. This new version doesn't, only Dolby Vision. It does not have HDR certification and USE HDR is not supported. Why not? Thanks.

- A:Answer This Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US, ships with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 16 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - 2.5K WQXGA (2560x1600) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 400 nits, has a Glossy finish. In contrast, Dolby Vision can change information such as color and brightness dynamically, thus making the viewing experience more immersive.

Q: QuestionWhat are some of the cons/weaknesses of this laptop?
Asked by Customer.
- A:Answer The display has pretty bad IPS glow. The contrast isn't very good so when watching movies or videos with dark scenes the black colors look purple/pink. The speakers suck for watching videos/tv shows/movies because it makes peoples voices sound weird, hollow, and unnatural. The touchpad doesn't always register clicks and sometimes stops tracking your fingers. And lastly it has the flaw every windows 11 laptop has, not all software supports Windows 11 so you may not get good compatibility with your favorite programs if you're upgrading from an older operating system.
