A: Regrettably, we are not privy to Corporate decisions as to why we do not sell induction range ovens in Black Stainless Steel anymore, but a possible reason may be due to a low demand or lack thereof for them. LG does not divulge information about future plans for product releases unless we announce it through an official public announcement via a press release or showcase the products at trade shows, and we currently do not have information about plans to offer induction range ovens in black stainless steel...^Ivan.
A: The minimum temperature for the Convection Bake and Convection Roast in the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG STUDIO 6.3 cu. Ft. InstaView® Induction Slide-in Range with Air Fry and Air Sous Vide, Model # LSIS6338FE is 300°F (*275°F) / 150℃ (*136 ℃). When Conv. Bake or Conv. Roast is selected, Convection Auto Conversion automatically converts the standard recipe temperature entered to a convection temperature by subtracting 25 ℉ / 14 ℃. This auto-converted temperature will show on the display. For example, when you select Conv. Bake, and enter 350℉, the display will show 325 ℉ after preheat. The default temperature is 350°F (*325°F) / 175℃ (*161℃). Broil has a minimum temperature of Lo, 400°F, and a maximum of Hi, 500°F. Hi is the default setting. Bake has a minimum temperature setting of 170°F / 80°C, and a maximum of 550°F / 285°C with a default of 350°F / 175℃. Probe has a minimum temperature setting of 80°F / 27°C and a maximum of 210°F / 100°C with a default of 150 °F / 65 °C. The minimum for Air Fry is 300°F / 150℃, the maximum is 550°F / 285℃, and the default is 400°F / 205℃. The minimum for Air Sous-Vide is 100°F / 38℃, the maximum is 205°F / 96℃, and the default is 130°F / 54℃. It is normal for the convection fan to operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle in the oven. This is to ensure even baking results. The fan cannot be turned off...^Ivan.

Q: Can I use a griddle on 2 elements? Or is there a bridge element?
A: Hello there, Deuce. Thank you for your inquiry about the LG LSIS6338FE Induction + Radiant Cooktop. This model does not have a dedicated bridge element, but you can still use a griddle on two adjacent elements. The left and right front elements are designed to accommodate larger cookware like a griddle, as they can be used together. You may want to use a griddle that spans across the left front (3200W) and right front (4300W) elements for even heating. If you notice uneven heating or issues with the griddle, we recommend checking the cookware compatibility for induction surfaces, as the material needs to be magnetic for optimal performance. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsis6338fe#pdp_specs Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you with any further questions or troubleshooting. A: Hello there! Thank you for your question! The LSIS6338NE range does not come with an option to order different handles and knobs directly from LG. While you can switch out the handles and knobs yourself, LG does not provide a service to swap them at no cost. If you prefer a different finish, it’s recommended to purchase compatible handles and knobs separately and install them yourself. For more information or if you need further assistance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSupport, and our team will be happy to help. —Avril
Q: What size magnets are used for the 4 induction elements?
A: Hi there, Batou. Thanks for your question about the LG LSIS6338FE Induction + Radiant Range. Specific details about the size of the magnets used in the induction elements are not typically included in the product specifications. However, induction cooktops generally use magnets integrated into the coil system that activates the cookware, and these magnets are designed to work with ferrous (magnetic) pots and pans. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsis6338fe#pdp_specs If you need more technical details or are looking for guidance on cookware compatibility, we recommend reaching out to @LGUSSupport on social media for additional assistance. After looking at multiple induction ranges from all the major suppliers and at multiple price points this range provided the best value in terms of oven size, number of racks, appearance, features plus it had a robust, solid feel to it. There will be a learning curve to use all of the features especially since I have only used gas ranges for 40+ years and I was unable to easily run a gas line in this house so I was somewhat "forced" to make the technology change and I jumped straight to induction. I really didn't see a need for a "bridge element" and the warming zone will get more use than than a bridge would. Plenty of power/speed/heating plus the handle also matches the studio dishwasher which was a nice plus.

Excellent product. It has the largest-diameter 'burner' of any comparably priced range, and the high ratings it earns from Consumer Reports for high power plus ability to gently simmer are justifiable. If you're a bread baker don't get too excited about its tempering feature; 95 deg F is way too hot for tempering yeast dough. But the oven bakes evenly and well, and has every bell and whistle you could wish for.
