Logitech M310 Wireless Mouse: This mouse wirelessly connects to your compatible PC or Mac using a Plug-and-Forget nano receiver, so you can enjoy freedom of motion while you navigate features. The hand-friendly design helps ensure lasting comfort.
This mouse works great. No drivers to manually install, just plug it in to ANY Windows PC (probably Linux and Mac too, though I haven't tried Mac and have only tried a couple Linux installations) and after a few seconds of automatically installing the basic driver it's good to go. Buttons have a great feel. Slide pads underneath are low friction and work well on nearly every surface. Optical sensor works well too and there are very few surfaces you can't mouse on...I have been using these mice (about 6 of them) on different PCs, in different places, on different surfaces, for several years now and they're all I buy for portable wireless mice.
Note that I said PORTABLE. This is my only complaint with these mice...they are a little on the small side. At a desk where the mouse is not going to travel but will just stay there all the time, I have instead opted for a full-size wireless mouse. But these (about 3/4 the size of normal mice) are just slightly less comfortable and efficient to use than a full-size mouse. The obvious advantage is that it takes up less space in your backpack, laptop bag, or wherever else you transport your gear. But also keep in mind that my hands are on the big side...a little larger than average for a man's hand...so for me to use these for several years with little trouble means it should work fine for most people most of the time. But of course, everyone has their personal preferences. I've been good with it. And no stars off for size (of course) because it's SUPPOSED to be a portable laptop mouse, it's SUPPOSED to be smaller than normal. If that's not okay with you, buy a larger one.
Overall GREAT product though. And by the way, battery life is excellent and no random disconnects. Final note, I haven't used them for controlling a PC across the room (like a HTPC or something) so I can't comment on range distance.

I know the other reviewers wanted an extra button or two, but I fall into a different camp. As an avid Mac user, I have never until now even considered a non-mac accessory. But after having non-Mac mice at work with our Macbook Pros, I actually got used to having a wheel and a second button. Being that I have always used a simple one button mouse, this actually is more than I am used to and I don't desire any more than what is here. I am quite used to the key commands for zooming and the like.
I really like the size of this thing, too. It's really comfy in my hand. Seems like it was the only one in the store that wasn't tiny. I have large hands and the small ones just aren't enough to hold onto.
I also like the wheel compared to the Mac mouse. The Mac mouse's tiny little roller ball stopped working after just a few weeks. The I bought another and the same thing happened.
The usb antennae is great. It can actually sit a lot further from my computer and still work than the one at work (I don't remember that brand). It sits a few feet away in a USB hub. The one at work I have to have directly in front of me to work.
All this being said, it was also 20 bucks. I would definitely recommend this mouse. I plan on getting another so one can stay at home on my iMac and one can go with me for my Macbook Pro.

I got this mouse on sale during Black Friday. Needed something wireless and fairly portable to carry with my laptop. I got the flame red color and it looks great. The mouse is just the right size, not like many of the very small (portable) mice, but big enough to be quite comfortable in my hand (adult male). The left & right buttons have a nice, crisp click to them, but not too loud. The scroll wheel has a slight "click" for each little roll of the wheel instead of one that rolls smoothly. I prefer the kind that have this slight click to them, so this one is perfect. There's a slot inside the battery compartment for the wireless USB dongle if you prefer to store it in there when not in use. It also came with a battery (1 AA). There's also an ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the mouse. I've been using it for a month now and don't have any complaints. It's a very nice mouse for the price.

I purchased this mouse when the Apple trackpad broke down after years of use. I wasn’t ready to drop $150 on a new trackpad so I needed a quick solution.
I visited the local Best Buy and was told by a helpful member of the computer department that this Logitech mouse would basically take care of all the browsing, navigating, and scrolling as needs and would operate without issue with a Mac and he was right.
Even on a mouse pad that’s a little bit rough and over a decade old the mouse is quick, accurate, and very responsive and produces a satisfying clicking sound with a metallic edge that lets you know that you are highlighting and pinpointing whatever you need to and that you can click with confidence and there is no lag whatsoever. The pre-installed battery should be good for a year before replacement is needed and this is Wireless USB based.
I definitely recommend this mouse for those who do not need a trackpad right away for their Mac and just something simple and accurate to navigate with.

I have purchased Logitech mice in the past and haven't ever been thrilled with them. I have always been an avid supporter of Logitech products, but it seems many of their mice don't perform any better than say a standard Dell optical mouse. This mouse has definitely changed my opinion, and now I can recommend newer Logitech mice to my friends and family.
I'll give you some background on me; I am an avid computer user, I build them, fix them, rebuild them: just about everything you can do with one- I do it! I am also a gamer, I enjoy gaming and sometimes I get quite into it and a lot of times my equipment doesn't last long enough because of how often/much I use it.
This mouse has been great so far, and has definitely exceeded my expectations. It fits great in my hand, has had no connection issues to/from my computer, and doesn't interfere with any other devices in my house running on the 2.4GHz frequency. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a new wireless optical mouse.
I only have two complaints; it doesn't have side-to-side scrolling, as my other Logitech mouse does, nor does it have additional buttons (not a big deal, but useful).
GREAT JOB LOGITECH!

(Pros)
Easy to grip for high levels of control while gaming or doing photo editing.
Rubber sides are a nice anti-slip texture.
No side buttons near the thumb to accidentally click. (I don't need extra buttons, so this is a big win for me).
Longer, narrower form factor that fits well in a narrow hand while still supporting the palm of the hand. Many other mice are designed for large hands shaped more like huge paws, or they're so small only your fingertips rest on them. (Both designs lead to hand fatigue in the wrong hand).
Micro receiver dongle that stores inside the battery compartment. My previous similar model Logitech mouse had a big USB receiver you could easily misplace.(Hence replacing it!)
Only takes one battery, vs the old Logitech version's two. This means it's more energy efficient and lighter in weight. Does not feel flimsy.
Quiet mouse wheel and clicking. Does not sound like a cheap $5.00 mouse, but it is much less expensive than the "twin" model of mouse this replaces.
(Cons)
None yet.

I've must have used at least 30 to 50 different optical mouse in life, never have I seen one this bad. Here's why... There are 4 small pads underneath the mouse, one in each corner. And interestingly enough, they had to make them uneven, top right and bottom left corner pads are a bit thicker than the top left and bottom right corners. So the mouse keeps rocking back and forth as you use it. If you have ever been to a restaurant where the table legs are uneven, than you know what I'm talking about. Double-clicking sometimes doesn't register because the mouse always rocks back and forth after each click. Just terrible to try to work with this mouse. Now for $10, I'm not going to make the trip back to the store to return or exchange it, so I'm gonna keep it, but I'm very unhappy with it. Maybe I'll buy some tiny padding to pad the four corners of the mouse to make it even, so it doesn't rock back and forth after every click.

Best answer: No, this does not come with a unifying receiver. It is the nano receiver, which is designed to pair with one device. The unifying receiver will have an orange asterisk on it that indicates it can pair with more than one device. The M325 comes with a unifying receiver, but it is a smaller mouse.
This is NOT a bluetooth device, as another responder stated.
Best answer: If you've already checked the mouse power-switch under the mouse is ON and a AA-AAA battery is inserted. This could be a possible issue with the automatic driver install after Plug and Play. The Green light will come and go off intermittently when the system is trying to detect the new USB device (mouse) during driver install.
Try these steps:
1. Check if computer is continuously connected to wireless or LAN connection
2. Remove all devices from USB ports of the computer and restart the computer
3. When the computer is ready plug the keyboard and mouse USB pieces. (Check if firewalls are disabled. You can turn it back on once everything work)
4. A dialog box will show the driver installation progress and the lights on keyboard and mouse will blink intermittently.
5. Once drivers are installed, test the keyboard and mouse they both should work.
Best answer: This mouse requires a usb port i believe any iPads come with it. Perhaps and adepter could work. I don't know if they sell one for the lighting port. good luck.
