As the heavyweight speaker of the home line-up, Woburn III is guaranteed to fill any space with immersive, home-shaking Marshall signature sound. Woburn III has been re-engineered with a three-way driver system, with a more powerful 6” woofer in a bass-reflex cabinet (tuned lower than previous generations), two 3/4” tweeters and the addition of two 2” midrange drivers. This updated system delivers greater clarity in the midrange, crisp treble and more controlled bass that is so low it nearly reaches the lowest frequency perceivable by the human ear. Angled tweeters and updated waveguides have been added to deliver a consistently solid sound that is so wide it chases you around the room. Built-in Dynamic Loudness adjusts the tonal balance of the sound, ensuring your music sounds brilliant at every volume. Woburn III is ready for the future of Bluetooth technology and has been built ready to deliver next-generation Bluetooth features the moment they are available.
Q: Can I connect a microphone to this speaker for karaoke?
A: No, you could technically hook a microphone up if you have either an RCA or 1/8” plug on it, but you wouldn’t be able to play music simultaneously. You would need a small mixer to bring your music and microphone in and then connect the mixer output to the speaker.
Q: Can you plug a guitar into it?
A: NO, don't even try.
Q: can you connect to radio receiver using wire ?
A: AUX wire connection is best! So, YES!
Q: can more than 1 speaker be used in a large home at the same time with the same music?
A: Hi Steve, for the moment the Woburn III speakers cannot be used in a speaker group, however, they are firmware ready for speaker grouping once Bluetooth LE Audio is available, but for the moment, this technology isn't released and the functionality isn't yet available. Once the technology is readily available through connecting devices (cell phones, computers, etc), the speakers will also receive an update and this functionality will be available at your fingertips.
Q: Can 2 woburniii bluetooth speakers be paired for stereo?
A: Hello, thank you for your question. The Woburn III speakers are not offering coupled, stereo playback at this time. Stay tuned for Audio LE and speaker grouping options to be available in the near future.
A: Hello, thanks for your question. Depending on the compact disc player, a pre-amp may be required to bring the audio signal up to line-level.
A: Hello Rosey, thanks for your question. Most Turntables will require a pre-amp when being connected to a Marshall speaker, do you have a pre-amp in your setup?
Q: I have a wood burn ll. Do they still make them
A: You have to check out the Woburn III! It is amazing compared to the Woburn II,night and Day dofference in sound if you can beleive that.
