Used this dash kit to install a Pioneer MVH-X360BT that I picked up for my 2003 Honda Accord EX-L (no Nav) on Black Friday. The included instructions are a bit lacking but thankfully there are a lot of online resources which show you how to disassemble the necessary parts of the dash. Installation was very smooth and the kit slid right into the slot where the cubby used to reside. After almost a month of use, I haven't noticed any issues with rattling or stability. Some have complained that the plastic material isn't the same quality as the dash material, but the car is 11 years old, so it doesn't really matter to me. Some notes: - You must connect the blue wire in the Accord if you have the rear in-glass antenna. Otherwise, you won't get AM stations. The instructions aren't clear and refer to it as the "powered antenna'" which led me to believe this was for the old style motorized antennas. I made this mistake then had to solder it in the car. - I attached the included brackets to the receiver, then slid the receiver in the pocket. It's very snug and almost no gap can be seen. - No antenna extension cable was necessary. The cable is on the same side. I just had to cut off the electrical tape that was securing it to the factory radio. - You won't be able to detach the front radio display once installed. This isn't an issue but just something to be aware of. Beyond that, it was one of the easiest installs I've done.

When researching the required dash mount kit for the installation of my Pioneeer Audio Receiver, I saw that there were two models which varied extremely in their price. The one I chose was $19.99 The other one was almost $300.00! The difference was, if I went with the one for $300.00, the receiver would be placed at eye level where the factory receiver was located, but would totally change out the look & integrity of my factory dashboard ,as it required a complete rebuilding of the air conditioner/heating system to match up the controls etc. It looked terrible!!! The one I bought for $19.99, required the receiver to be placed down below where the cassette tape deck had been but allowed the entire configuration of the factory dashboard to remain intact and it looks great! I just had to get used to looking down below when operating my new receiver but thats a small price to pay for keeping my car's original look intact and spending $20.00 vs $300.00!

This mounts below the OEM Radio. The old radio stays in place for the climate control and clock. It was relatively easy to install, good instructions. It took me about two hours to install the radio. It holds radio firmly. Only bad thing is the best position for a radio is where the factory installed radio is. Mounting the radio lower means you have to look down at it which means you eyes are off the road, but that is more of a car dash layout issue than with this product, but it would be better to be able to mount a new radio where the Existing one is.

Other than the fact that I had my wife stop at the Best Buy store and couldn't find salesman to help her when they were getting ready for Black Friday, so she came home without one, which forced me to buy one online instead, it is a well engineered part and fit perfectly in my wife's car. When I finally got it, I had it installed and working in less than an hour. I would recommend buying online if you live in Green Bay!

It really could have been my fault, but I doubt it. One of the wires was loose, but didn't realize it until I had spent hours troubleshooting, and took it back to Best Buy and paid for them to install it, just to tell me afterwards that it was just a loose wire. I paid their $70 installation fee anyways cause I felt bad.

Easy enough to install, but it is a little flimsy. It does not mount to anything at the top, just at the bottom with two small tabs. You can actually pull the top out after the dash is all back together, which would make it very easy to steal the kit and radio altogether because the bottom tabs would just break off.

work and fits well except that it could use some addtional stops as teh old dashes on teh honda accord the stops get abused. i added plastic pipe hold downs below the existing dash piece to adapt and keep it aligned nicely and prevent from going in too far.
