Amazing
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this game as a gift and couldn’t recommend it enough. Brings Metroid back to its 2D roots but on a horrifying way. Be prepared to feel dread as the EMMIS chase you. Truly one of the funnest 2D platformers of all time.

Metroid is back with great 2D classic action
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome side-scrolling action. Challenging at times but still fun. A good mix of exploration and cool boss fights. Definitely worth it for a Metroid fan or anyone looking for a good side-scroller. There is a lot to like about this game. My one criticism would be a lack of direction for the player. It can take a bit to learn where the next objective is sometimes. Still a good time though and would recommend as a buy.

Lots of 2D fun
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who said you need three dimensions to have a ton of fun? Seriously though, here's hoping this is the last 2d installment of the series.

Q: QuestionSo, since it is dang near impossible to pre-order the Amiibos or Special Edition of this game, does anyone know if there are plans to make a strategy guide? Because it would seem logical to have something like that produced.
Asked by Whitfield.
- A:Answer Prima Games did a printed and eguide for Metroid: Samus Returns, so it's probable that they will do one for Dread as well. Hopefully that helps!

Q: QuestionIs there any added benefit to pre-ordering?
Asked by Bones.
- A:Answer Honestly no unless you want that specific pre order item which most times suck anyways. Other than that if you’re thinking you’re going to get a copy on the day off you might be disappointed since they tend to run out even though you’ve pre ordered it.
