Next Gen Gaming at its Finest

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5So far I can say this Xbox series x has been the best purchase I’ve made in a really long time as far as tech goes. This device is really ahead of its time Very easy to use and setup The graphics are amazing The user interface is going to take some time for me to get used to coming from PlayStation But I honestly think the Xbox series x gets the job done. Extremely quiet while running games. The quick resume option will come in handy when you have more than three games and want to switch seamlessly from game to game and continue where you left off. The controller is solid love the color Remember to buy rechargeable batteries and a solid head set to pair.

A great piece of hardware.
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5After spending an entire month with my brand new Xbox Series X, I have to say that this console is such a great piece of hardware. The Xbox Series X has lived up to, all of its hype surrounding the new console back when it was revealed at the Game Awards 2019. With that said, the console is whisper quiet even while playing graphical intensive games like, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil 2: Remake, it doesn't matter...it's super quiet. The best part about the Xbox Series X is, the massive backlog of games it has due to Microsoft's dedication to Backwards Compatibility as well. And not only do older Xbox and Xbox 360 games look better, but they get a huge boost in loading and overall performance. With that said, the new Xbox Series X so far has made a first great impression on me, and I believe that the console and its games is only going to get better in the near future. Also, with the reveal of new games in development such as Avowed, Bright Memory Infinite, Fable, Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, Scorn, State of Decay 3, etc. I think this new generation of Xbox is going to, absolutely deliver great first-party games to their fans across the board.

The Best Gaming Console to get for PC Gamers!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5If you are also a PC gamer, this is the console to get. 1) Works great out of the box with PC gaming monitors over HDMI connection with support for 1920 x 1080 120Hz, 2560 x 1440 120Hz, and 4K at 60Hz or 120Hz. Just make sure your PC monitor supports HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1... On some computer monitors it works right away or you may have to adjust the HDMI settings to 120Hz - but overall it works with all the PC gaming monitors we tested it with. 2) If you are a PC Gamer, get the Xbox Ultimate Game Pass. The main reason why is if you buy or download games on the Xbox Series X/S, you also can play these games on your PC/Computer. 3) The Xbox controller feels good and solid. I like the fact you can take out the batteries and replace them with rechargeable ones. Easy to swap out for freshly charged batteries you the controller runs low during a gaming session. The controller also works with your computer! 4) The hardware inside is a beast! In my honest opinion, you are basically getting a $1000+ gaming PC for $500 with the Xbox Series X.

I got one! (Well, my son did for now)
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Best Xbox Ever! Had a slight glitch on initial download where on restart console did that audio pitch freeze/restart but all has been fine since. Disc drive verified to be working. Packaging was cool...like a little present. My son will be thrilled come Christmas. Now if i could just find one for myself. I also recommend the $230 storage upgrade..think of it as a xbox series x pro with 2 tbs nvme ssd storage...superb. I love sleek look and not the monstrosity that is the ps5 trapper keeper edition.

Console dad life and I couldn’t be happier.
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5After being a computer gamer for forever. I became a dad and needed a console to fill my gaming habits. I immediately bought a one X and loved it. After getting an lg oled C9 I knew I wanted to make the jump to the series x or ps5. I ended up getting the series x and I’m so glad that I did. Everything plays amazing! I didn’t think it was going to be such a large improvement graphically and performance wise, but it truly is. If you own a tv that supports 120fps I would buy the series x in a heartbeat. I’m beyond excited to see the future of true next gen games in a year or two. If you don’t have a top of the line tv. I would wait a year or so and upgrade your tv before upgrading to the series x so you can get the full benefit of wait this amazing system can can give, but either way upgrading to it now or later you simply won’t regret it.

Great console but lacks unique features
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Next Gen right? Well not so fast. Has the same old user interface as the previous Xbox one. You know it’s funny how they claim it’s the most powerful console but didn’t update a simple user interface to experience some sort of next gen feel when starting up your next gen console for the very first time. So why believe what they claim after all? Check this out , another point. The colors are not as contrast as with the PS5. You can also find this online when you search a comparison game running side by side. You will notice The PS5 has a better contrast ratio while the Xbox looks a tad bit lower giving the in game characters a more realistic look on the PS5. Maybe they will correct in the future, I truly hope so. Also Starting of you will feel the difference of the PS5 with a new user interface, a built in game that combines their years of all the PlayStation technology into the game and making the game fun at that! Exploiting their newly adaptive triggers on the controller of the PS5 was very new and creative. I’m just a tad bit disappointed why Xbox did really nothing with any updated new look feel features. Yes the games run smooth, yes the console is very quiet. And yes it’s very fast. But this was all to be expected. It’s a shame they couldn’t have at least updated the user interface . I guess the only unique features is the in game pause , play another game, and come back to where you left of on your first game. Which is cool I guess, but I’m not the type of guy to like my console straining more power then what I’m currently using it for. The controller also feels very similar to the last gen. I would like to add they did however, create a faster response on the controller then the PS5 controller .I’ve noticed the PS5 is not as quick response as the Xbox. So shoot em up games, you probably will have a slighter advantage on the Xbox Series X. All in all It is a absolute beast for next gen gaming, but lacking a lot of the differential unique features is were Xbox really dropped the ball. Still a beast of a console especially with Xbox buying exclusive title rights to company’s like the creators of Doom). The future looks bright for the Xbox Series X. 4/5

Series X from a PC gamers view
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5PC GAMERS PERSPECTIVE: I play mainly on my gaming pc but have used Xbox since the 360 days and have played some PlayStation too and I am not gonna be biased in this review like a fanboy but this console is for you if you previously owned an Xbox one because smart delivery is amazing and even non next gen optimized games run great with fast load times. When I play next gen titles the day tracing in watch dogs legion is comparable to my gaming pc and playing games at 60fps is not an eyesore like 30fps used to be. (Legion is 30fps but much more stable and has never had frames drop) I’ve played dirt 5 and Cold War at 120hz mode and it is impressive just make sure you have a tv that can do that or a monitor! Overall this is an excellent console from Microsoft and you really can’t go wrong with next gen gaming no matter what console you get Sony and Microsoft have made excellent hardware and I’m looking forward to next gen but if you already play on Xbox this console is definitely for you and if you previously owned PlayStation and like the more power the series x offers on paper this system is for you too!

Spectacular game play across the generations.
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The very first game I played was Morrowind, from the original Xbox, it didn’t look horrible amazingly enough. Cyberpunk 2077 looks incredible, and plays much better after projekt red patched a lot of the issues plaguing it. I just need to get a tv that can fully optimize the hdr10, 4K, 120hz potential functionality of the Series X. My only qualm with this system, and what also seems to be an issue from what I’ve heard on the PS5 is how game updates are presented, they tend to interrupt game play at times as they do not preload in the background or when not in use. As was available on Xbox one etc., it’s not a deal breaker because all of the pluses that are afforded by this beautiful system.

Q: QuestionWhy I can’t pre-order yet?
Asked by Choock.
- A:Answer I have been checking for the past almost 55min refreshing the page and it still says “Coming Soon” - did they open the pre-orders up earlier than the agreed upon time 45 min ago?? If so, and they already sold out, that is very frustrating for the people trying to follow the agreed upon release date and times...
Answered by Aaaa
Q: QuestionWhat is Best Buy doing to prevent bots buying up entire stocks for resellers to enjoy scalped rates? As an individual consumer I need reassurance that where I choose to pre-order doesn't cater to connivery.
Asked by Kevh.
- A:Answer Nothing bots will eat up every website the Xbox released on.....
Answered by Fred
Q: QuestionDid the preorder light even turn on for ANYONE? I mashed refresh from 10:30 to 11:40 and nothing. Meanwhile a kid on twitter said his bot got 62 systems from Best Buy. I think this was sold out within seconds. Bunch of crap!
Asked by Sinjin.
- A:Answer I did, had it in my cart was paying kept getting system issues then was pulled from my cart and was unable to pre order.
Answered by Carlos
Q: QuestionWhen I pre-order the Xbox Series X, is my card going to be charged at the time of the pre-order or when the console ships?
Asked by Corwin117.
- A:Answer According to Best Buy policy, when you place your pre-order they'’ll authorize your form of payment with your bank, which results in a temporary authorization hold. After a few business days, the hold should be automatically released and the funds returned to your account. Shortly before release day as your order begins final processing for shipment or store pickup, we’ll reauthorize your form of payment, resulting in another hold. Once your order ships or becomes ready for store pickup we’ll then collect payment. Please note that pre-orders placed using PayPal are processed differently, and are charged immediately upon placing your pre-order.

Q: QuestionBest Buy should offer their Elite Members the option to buy hot items before others. Why not reward customer loyalty first? Sadly the bots will make my attempt to buy futile as they did with the PS5. Thoughts Best Buy?
Asked by RabidBULLDOG.
- A:Answer I agree, Elite members should have first priority with their membership.
Answered by PMZM
Q: QuestionWhen do pre-orders start for the system and do I have to pay in full for pre-order and can you deliver the system on the day of release to the house? With tracking and signed delivery from UPS or FedEx?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer Not sure about the tracking, but the card will be pre authorized but not charged until the day the console ships.
