Sequel of Shadow of Mordor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has the same mechanics of the first one called Shadow of Mordor. It makes use of the awesome Nemesis system for ranking Orcs using a random creation for stats in where every time you were defeated by an Orc it would gain the knowledge and strength, making it harder to encounter later. The second game Shadow of war though suffers from an unbalanced game play by trying to implement the use of micro-transactions to charge real money for in game item to use on siege mode where you'd deploy Orcs recruited in battle to fight for you and secure forts making the game grinder and slower to progress. These has been removed now which is great if you haven't played it and want to now.

Amazing Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of those games that you can play for months and not get tired of. Combat is fantastic,, skill progression is fun and fair, and the nemesis system has really made some unique and incredible stories. Also? Don't worry about micro transactions or loot boxes. They're not necessary in the slightest (the game is better if you ignore them honestly) but if you want them you make more than enough of the in game currency to get a whole bunch of boxes if you want.

great game but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the sequel to shadow of mordor and takes place right after the events of the first game. Game is beautiful combat is fun and will take 40-50hrs to complete 100%. Be carful there are micro transactions included in this game but you do NOT need to purchase any with real money to beat the game.

Great game, But with flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a great game, But it has it's flaws. My two biggest gripes are the micro-transactions, Which isn't that big of a deal (Just do not buy the in-game currency), and the section of the game called the Shadow Wars. It is 10 stages of just defending your fortresses. It gets very repetitive and boring, and you have to complete the 10 stages of shadow wars to see the final cut scene and credits. Other than those two gripes of mine I think this game is fun to play. You will get a lot of hours out of this game, I easily put anywhere between 20 to 45 hours into this game and only completed 90 something percent of the game. The shadows of the past missions is all i did not complete. Overall, I recommend this game. Buy this game on sale, And don't buy the in-game currency.

Improvement from Shadow of Mordor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve enjoyed playing Shadow of War just as much as Shadow of Mordor. With SOW they definitely improved the graphics (4K), leveling system, and voice acting. However there are some moments where it feels like a an assassins creed type grind (run here, assasinate him/her, meet an informat). I’m pretty sure everyone knows that WB just lifted the fighting system from the Batman:Arkham series and also lifted Assasins Creed gameplay/type (assasinations, stealth, follower building). Most people don’t mind because they enjoy the LOTR lore which is understandable as it’s pretty good. All in all I rated it a 4 as the running around the map can get annoying as the fast travel spots are far and few. However, as long as you don’t try and sit and grind out the game then you will hardly notice it (it’s not like you’re playing Assassins Creed 3 or anything)

Better than the first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides completely going non-canon in the end the story is great, gameplay is as good as ever, and the nemesis system is improved. The sieges are fun, and overall the game is great, if not slightly repetitive.
